| Anyway back on topic children. Most of the clubs in the championship are part time and staffed largely by volunteers. With the furlough scheme being in place to cover players wages most have been alright during the lockdown. The difficulties will surface from next year when clubs are expected to field teams without central funding.

| Quote: Maccbull_BigBullyBooaza "I’ve only ever posted provable facts. For example, Wakefield have been fined several times in recent years for fan disorder. Including a game at Belle Vue that saw Bradford fans subjected to vile racist abuse for having the temerity of standing in your ground. This lead to a fine and a statement from your chairman denouncing such behaviour. I recently posted about the National Crime Agency investigating the deal that saw Wakefield buy Belle Vue for twice it’s value from a man that went on to be the subject of the first unexplained wealth order due to links with drug dealers including the convicted murder Meggy Khan - using money borrowed from tax payers. These aren’t made up anti Wakefield abuse merely facts.'"
Please explain to me in simple terms just exactly how it works where the club have benefited from paying twice the value of the ground, and also apart from the council lending the club money how does it affect the taxpayers if the club are paying it back with interest, with no land available to buy and build another stadium surely it's Wakefield that has been abused by the previous owner's exploitation of the situation, and should Wakefield be found guilty by association simply by a one off transaction with a man who previously on the face of it had no connections with crime.
As an ex Wakey fan who jumped ship and was blinded by the success of the bulls, it's easy to see that your bitterness towards the club still runs as deep as ever, back on topic Bradford has had it's day and it's ridiculous to include them as a club more likely to be sustainable in the near future, you seriously need to get over it.

Woah chill out. I didn’t make any other comment on it other than the NCA were investigating the deal that saw Wakefield trinity borrow £3M from Wakefield council to pay Manni Hussain for a ground that was valued at £1.7M - this was a separate investigation to and as a result of the investigation that saw Manni Hussain subject to an unexplained wealth order totalling £10M. Let’s stick to the facts eh - you’ll
be in danger of breaking the AUP if you want to suggest any funny business went on.

Really? Well that explains a lot.
Quite a large number of Bradford fans in their pomp were from other clubs it seems. Didn't Halifax's crowds fall off a cliff?
A packed Odsal for a big game used to be superb though. Loved big games there.

Yes lets stick to the facts, have you any evidence to link any complicity with Wakefield and the alleged illegal activities with the said Mr Hussain and his associates, no you haven't but that hasn't stopped your insinuations regarding the sale of the land along with other mud slinging about the club which incidentally has no bearing on the thread title, so why don't you forget your obvious bitterness and stick to the facts yourself, or it could be you in danger of breaking the AUP.

I have stuck to the facts.

Can we get back on topic now or does this thread have to descend into another Wakefield fest? It’s always got to be about you lot hasn’t it?

Actually you mugs brought Wakefield into the conversation first on page 1. I didn't started commenting until page 2.
Quote: Willzay "Plus the access to POR is worse than Belle Vue or Wheldon Road.'"
Quote: Willzay "never had a problem but then the attendance wasn't great'"
Quote: Willzay "At Belle Vue?'"
Quote: Willzay "if you like'"
Another poster then mentioned about people not wanting Fev fans anywhere near Superleague. I merely suggested they don't have anymore incidents than other clubs in the area. Cue massive offence from the Belle Vue snowflakes and the pile on.
One comment congratulating Featherstone was even removed by a Superleague club supporting moderator.
Good job derailing another thread - clearly RLfans is only interested in discussion of superleague.

| Think Widnes are getting there. Easy opposition yesterday but first game in over a year.
Think 10 of the 17 on show yesterday came through the academy. Year after year bringing the youth through and providing talent for rugby league.
No flush with money, but will get decent crowds in this league and in superleague. Effectively purchased by a consortium of fans and have been run brilliantly since without spending beyond their means. Strong squad this season and fancy our chances if our injury list stays limited.
Always liked watching us play Toulouse. Always a good amount of French players in their 17 and I think as a club are really developing well.
Sustainable for me it looking at your clubs survival and existence beyond a sugar daddy bailing you out. Toronto not sustainable. No plan B and rushed through. Yet you need to keep expectations grounded as these are after all championship clubs your breaking down. Crowds/academy/facilities and infrastructure I’d put
Widnes/Toulouse/Bradford above the rest
But that’s just my opinion

| It makes me laugh when you all talk about Featherstone having a hooligan element! It's literally 5 grown men and 2 chavvy runts giving it the big un. I remember Hull KR going to P.O.R and a hand full of chavs pretending to be Lazio ultras. They soon ran home in record time.

My top 4 in the championship in any order would be
Toulouse
Fev
York
Fax/Widnes
The Bulls may sneak in there.
My top 2 fighting for promotion is Toulouse and Fev.

That’s not the way my mate sees it. He’s a fev fan and he recalls the KR fans causing trouble and when the fev fans retaliated the hull fans called the police?
