| Quote: 100% Warrior "Reaping what they’ve sewn in player contract management I’m afraid. The majority of that squad is nowhere near SL standard so for them to be getting beaten every week is no real surprise.
I don’t blame them for signing SBW, it’s a shrewd move IMO but leaving the squad to deteriorate to such a poor level is unforgivable.'"
Signing SBW was the very opposite of shrewd, stupid money for someone who hasn’t played League for years and is well past their best. Daft signing.

Remember the broncos side who finished bottom around 2013/14 only winning 1 game all year?
I genuinely think Toronto look worse.

| I do wonder what kind of damage this is doing in terms of any future expansions the game might try and implement going forward.
I understand Ottawa are getting the green light so time will tell, has the Toronto experiment simply been mis-managed or is the game really biting off more than it can chew with these expansions?
Will players want to go and play for these sides when they look and see the hidings Toronto are getting week in week out?
Leeds played well but that Toronto performance was one of the worst showings from a top flight team I have seen in a long, long time.

Players will go for the money, I bet Wilkin is laughing his socks off, all the way to the bank. As for $BW, well, worth every cent!

I don't think so, they'll knock off a few cellar dwellers along the way, especially at home later in the season.

| SBW makes our signing of Willie Mason years ago look like good business.

Agreed, they will probably win enough home games to finish above Hull KR or Salford. Although I do mean probably, it's not going to be easy for them avoiding relegation with regards to their defence, and 'offloading the ball' at every given opportunity. Someone needs to remind miserable Brian, thery're not in League One anymore.

| Instead of promoting the winner from the championship maybe the should of played the relegated team and then the winner would of proved it was worthy of promotion before showing performances like last night. It's sad when they want to bring expansion in but allow the best team in ages to drop back down

| When you listen to Robinson the Roosters coach after the WCC and his detailed analysis and then listen to Mcdermott they are just worlds apart. Mac was poor at London, got lucky with a great squad at Leeds but couldn't rebuild them when the big names retired/left and now is showing his colours again in Canada.

Questions have to be asked about who put their squad together and who thought that 24 players, with no reserve or academy to fall back on, would see them through the season. Maybe that was all down to Noble and is the reason he's gone but, it's just not good enough.
Maybe, after outspending all of their competition last season and gaining promotion, they actually thought that they were the dogs whatsits
The bigger issue on how to ensure that promoted clubs are ready for SL may also need looking at, although, in fairness to London last season, they competed pretty well, even taking account of the two "gimmies" against Saints.

| The abject failure to get up to speed by Toronto just further increases the massive respect I have for London last year. Astonishing just how well they adjusted on promotion. Toronto appear to have literally not moved on a step from Championship rugby. Featherstone would be getting much the same sort of results if not better. They and other top championship sides would not be bent over by that degree at Leeds. Its just odd.
