Making the most of a soft sin bin and the following Wakefield capitulation in discipline. If it weren't for having a player in the bin they'd have been team warning'd.
Right on queue, there's the warning.

| Navarette wasn't at fault for that, the other Wakey lad who actually lifted McShane's legs was.

This second half has seen some bizarre at best decisions go against your lot.
And yes rent free, you went out of your way to mention me despite my absence on here due to freaks like yourself and the rest of the Wakey clowns.

| Pleased for Oggy on his 200th appearance. He was 10/3 to score anytime however I've stopped betting so I've missed out.
14 wins in a row against wakey. Tough to take too much from that because wakey self imploded and it wasn't really a test as they were down to 12 for most the 2nd half. Westerman looked good for wakey. Mcshane good for Cas.

| Wakefield knew the only way to win was the slowing PTB ,basically grub tactis.
Lets face it,to lose to Wakefield at home would of been unacceptable .
It makes sense with Toronto drawing with Warrington for long periods, the Wire was not a good measuring stick ,once again its down to Cas to put Wakey in their place... whats that now 14 in a row?

Yes. Castleford are now unbeaten in fourteen games against the Wakefield trinity wildcats

I know for sure Phil Clarke is on something, I nearly choked on my beer when I heard him say that, of course after Hastings and Jones he was third can't think where to put Evalds Bibby Dudson Mossop Inu Lui/Tui Sio Lussick etc etc etc... I remember at the time thinking Darryl Powell must have had a bang on the head signing him, Derrell Awful was a liability he guaranteed us at least one fatal mistake a game sometimes more.
As you say once we got players back he never got anywhere near the team.
That said he seems to have gotten off to a half decent start with the Tigers.

Personally I was very happy with the George griffin signing, he finished the season v well for Salford as did dudson, olpherts was nowhere near the side ! Powell has got him playing well so far, think he likes a winger that carries strongly and gets you on the front foot early.

Nothing against the lad - he definitely runs the ball out well but lacks pace, coughed up far too many errors for us and didn’t score often enough. He looked good tonight but he had his moments for us as well.
As for Clarke - opinions are fine but it’s just a fact that he couldn’t get in the team in the latter part of the season (you know the bit where we actually looked good). Our season changed when he was dropped and Inu went on the wing.
Decent player Griffin. Makes some silly errors when he puts himself under pressure and tends to make them in clusters but puts the effort in week in week out.
