If it's so simple maybe you could
1 say where it will be built, and, probably most importantly,
2 how it will be funded?

If they said to both clubs build a new stadium or lose your Super League status I'm pretty sure they would find the right location and funding

You still haven’t said where to build it, and how to fund building a shared stadium.

We could always share with Sheffield and agree to play half of our games there, like Hudd-Sheff did aftef Huddersfield "conned" the Eagles out of their place in SL

It's to be hoped Huddersfield town don't booted out of the stadium as you've got nothing then

| Quote: Shifty Cat "It has and was costing a fortune in rent to 88M and before that bank of Ireland & that's why we managed to get the stadium and the land that surrounds it into the Clubs ownership, so we can develop it and start earning money out of the place, more than the 14 home games or whatever it is.
Carter's brought in a new Director/owner to deal totally with getting Belle Vue redeveloped in sections. The first sectionto be done, as you hint at is the bigger east stand that runs from Donny Road, then the full length of the pitch and beyond., The old stand plus where the Superbowl and car park used to beis giving is the size we need to turn it into something worthy of the City and RL. Where apart from beating seating etc, there's going to be much improved corporate, bars and restaurants,, gym as well I think, as well other things like class rooms etc. According to a recent interviews with said director, planning permission is just about ready to go in, probably after Christmas for that stage of the development, it could have been sooner but apparently things like Brexit and then a GE has taken priority.Because it will be done in stages we won't be moving out, & it will start hopefully at the end of this next season and then the rest in off seasons in the future.
Also those artists impression were done by a company that owned the stadium before we did called 88M, that were trying to get in on the act, where they were going to build a stadium plus, student accommodation and others shops. Nothing to do with Trinity. Just like Newmarkets architects drawings that got planning permission for and also rubber stamped down in Westminster, contrary to what that complete WUM rolling turd says, that's another set of proposed pictures nothing to do with Trinity, just those using the club to get there fingers on about a 100m pounds of green belt land.
The WUM knows he's talking crap because he's done it all before and been proved wrong that somehow Trinity keep making stores up and keep having pictures drawn up just to fool everyone. I mean seriously what kind of plonker would even suggest such a thing, simply because it's so bizarre and secondly it's all so easy to prove wrong. I mean we've had not that long ago a number of back and fourths between the Council and the Club about the Newmarket project, I suppose that dude thinks it was fake news orchestrated by Trinity for some reason.'"
I Assume your name calling is aimed at me.
You have nothing decent to come back with so resorts to that.
Fact wakey has no new ground and are unlikely to get one in the next 10 years, sham slum of a club who offer nothing other than “tradition”

Notwithsatanding the state of the ground which is desperate for improvement but, is now owned by the club (albeit with a hefty mortgage), perhaps you can explain "sham slum of a club"

Talking of dumps, by the way your talking you wouldn't have been born when your club played at the illustrious fartown, talk about luck, you manage to play in a decent ground on the back of town getting a new ground, not to mention robbing the eagles of their rightful place in SL so that the worst club in SL with no money and no future could secure theirs, I'd keep me gob shut if I was you youth and less of the

Have you not got any shoddy clickbait articles to unnecessarily post?

| I don't think anyone is more annoyed about the situation at Cas than the supporters themselves. It's us who have to put up with such awful facilities. The club are sleepwalking into losing our SL status if (when?) the RFL decide to reintroduce any kind of licensing or stadium criteria. The board would only have themselves to blame for neglecting the present and spending too much time making excuses based on a future that might not even exist.
The condition of Wheldon Road is inexcusable.

Although you may be right, it's difficult for Castleford (and Wakefield) to make plans for their ground when they are expecting something to happen with a development that has full PP already passed - how many new grounds is it reasonable for any one club to pursue at the same time.
I know the situations with Castleford and Wakefield are very different but BOTH clubs understood that things were happening at Glasshoughton and Newmarket respectively.
Yes, in both cases, there should perhaps have been things done in the past but, for people to suggest that either club has sat on their booty and done nothing is just wrong and some should count their lucky stars that they are not under the control of WMDC.
As for the Fart's fan on here - can you imagine where he would be watching his RL, if, it were not for being tied in with Huddersfield Town FC and benefitting from their groundshare ??
