Yeah good game. I always enjoy these relegation battles and seeing Leeds lose is a bonus

| I'm sure when Craig sobers up, he will read his posts any realise how silly and excited he has got, McGuire had a great game and has been a very good player, but he is currently no where near the best halfback in SL, off the top of my head, I'd place Hastings, Kelly, Lonax, William's, Austin above him.
Could alo argue in form, Sneyd, Abdul, Fages and Lui have been better than him.
Probably not in the top 10 halfbacks in SL anymore.
Cracking win for Rovers, Smith and his loan signings have saved them, be interesting if he stays and if he is the man to move Rovers from the annual relegation dogfight.

Apart from Saints, other teams throw wobblers. An example, no disrespect to Salford, but who would have forecast they would beat Warrington? I agree how Hull is up there with the way they turn up or not is a minor miracle. Smith will keep Rovers up.

Leeds do look like a championship side that are trying to find their feet in super league this season. No leadership in the side when the going gets tough.

I agree that letting him go was probably an error, but if you rate him as the best half in SL then you are in an minority of one on that.

McGuire was the best halfback on pitch last night and Lui and Drinkwater have fairly decent reputations. In his time at Rovers he's been good when not injured. Was responding to Jake's fishing trip. Leeds had the best of him and his record and personal achievements are set in stone. Comparing him now with 6 games left in his career with Kelly and Sneyd was just dick waving with a little dick. Can he perform like that again next week? We will see live on Sky.

He does support a team with lui and myler as first choice hb combination though. Shame lui wasnt playing last night or he might have made a difference

I was replying to a Leeds fan who said he was still the best hb in sl which he clearly isnt. You're the only one who mentioned his earlier career

Still baffled at Leeds decision to let one of their best players in Parcell go to a relegation rival. Quite fitting that he scored the first try.

Just wondering if you've sobered up ? PMSL ever heard of a bloke called Jackson Hastings I mean he had man of steel elect Blake Austin in his back pocket (again).

Yes and Dave K jumped on that and tied in my comments to the Leeds fan.
Standard. Whilst younger halfs are 'better' players now isn't in doubt but come the big matches McGuire still is standout when it matters. Unfortunately our big matches are not for silverware they are for survival.

Big task now is to back up next week v Giants. We have been unable to string a run together but Smith seems to have brought real spirit to the team. Sheens had a wretched time with injuries and 2/3rds of season we had no props no hooker. What a difference since Quinlan and loans came in'"
I like watching you guys, there's alot of your players i'd like at Warrington. You have a quality squad and i'd say you'll turn over Huddersfield next week
