Great well done, no one is saying you can't win the odd game with players out, we have more problems than just injuries, but they have played a massive part in our season this year, like other teams as well. We have injuries, lost key players from last season, low on confidence and playing for nothing more than pride.
With such amazing recruitment, coach and squad you would really expect Cas to win the GF this year.

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| To be fair we got a couple of stuffings as well when we were down on troops.
Catalan mullered us. Huddersfield dispatched of us darn the lane and Kr really should have done too.
I think we've done well to make the 4 with how many players we've had missing at various stages. However I think we are the weakest of the 4 based on overall ability this season. That said so what ! 1 game from OT gotta be in it to win it.

| Well done to all the pundits on here, especially those who's own team is trying (once again) to avoid falling into the championship.

That's a better and more balanced post, I think you have done well this, probably better than last year with the injuries and loss of your best player.
I really hope you win it, but as you say, it's going to be tough.

| If I was a Hull fan I’d be looking at recruitment rather than the injury list.
As as already been said, Cas have suffered with injuries this year. However, when we have been well down on troops we’ve had solid, reliable players come into the squad. We’ve had far more players turn out for us this year than in 2017, but we’re still in with s shout. There was nothing to stop Hull signing the likes of Ellis, Clare and Clarke but they chose to spend big on fewer player rather than build a squad with decent depth.
83% of Hull’s salary cap is tied up in 17 players. That’s the mis-management that’s led to Hull’s problems this season,

I'd be shocked if most of the top sides aren't the same, bet saints and Wigan have similar percentage of salary cap. We had injuries earlier in thecsesdon but still won games, eventually it's told though and once the chance of the 4 went so did our desire and confidence.
It's been disapointted, but after the last two years I can take this, it's how we ready next year and I'm confident Pearson will and Radford will get us back on track

Why would I? As you say the worst we can finish is 8th so I'm laid back about this season. Get all our troops back next year, hopefully stay relatively injury free and we should be fine. I do take your point about the attendance last night, announced as 10500. We had a good laugh at that.

| Personally don't think we've coped too bad this year with our injuries. Up until a month or so ago we was sat in 5th still in with a shot of top 4, and that's with having at least 3/4 players out most weeks (often more). Contrast our year with Leeds. They have also suffered with injuries and they couldn't even manage top 8, so our overall squad has shown up a hell of a lot better than theirs.
We've been lucky with injuries the last 2 year's, unfortunately not this year, but that's contact sport for you. 3 games to go, potential 3 more hammerings coming up, but roll on next year.

| Everyone and I mean everyone on here shot down Wigan fans when they brought up injury excuses in 2016.

| Poor game last night. Cas didn't seem particularly motivated, whistle happy ref, Hull garbage.
Sooner these super 8s are sacked off the better.
