I'm not saying Eden should play for England but he's a far better player now then what he was prior to going to Oz.
MCB
I think Mason Caton Brown is in a way similar to Eden in having the odd mistake in him, albeit a hell of a lot faster (Potentially the quickest in SL) and has the ability to break a tackle so not too sure why you find that comment funny - You would find a lot of fans on here that would take MCB over Eden any day of the week.
I cant think of many SL teams that Eden would get in (Sounds strange to say with him been SL top try scorer). Maybe Catalan or Hull KR?

I wouldn't put MCB in ahead of either Gregory.
I appreciate he is behind 2 good wingers at Wakefield though and they are good.
Kevin Penny was fastest in SL at 1 stage, doesn't mean much.

| Last night another example of why Luke Thompson is in the wrong squad, how Chris Hill gets in the elite squad ahead of him I’ll never know.

Because it's only you who rates him that highly - Hill any day for me.

Dear me, you must be living in a cave if you think that, Hill has been rubbish for the past 18 months. Right now Thompson is the best prop in SL, I don’t think anyone can doubt that the man is a machine and the stats back that up. As a saints fan he’s cemented his place as our best prop right know and that says a lot because Walmsley has been good as well. He also won saints player of the month recently and it’s not just me who rates him that highly, people who watch most games also agree. Not like he was given a new contract for nothing. You’re either a Warrington fan or just blind.

| I love it when people say "most people agree with this blad-di blah-di da", yet don't have anything to back that up.

Better than Hill? Not yet he isn't and that's taking into account your subjective reasoning that Hill has been rubbish for the past 18 months.

There's a difference between been the best prop in Super League and been in good form. Right now Thompson is in good form. That's it.

O’Connor said he’s one of his favourite players in the Saints team, he was nominated for man of the match, I’ve seen Warrington fans praise him and when you search his name on Twitter all you find is praise. The only props who you could argue are better than him are Walmsley, Cuthbertson and Fifita. It’s not even just the metres he makes but how durable he is.

Yes he is, he’s in far better shape and makes a lot more metres every game. The main job of a prop is to guide his team forward, run hard and fracture the defensive line. Luke Thompson is better at all three and that is an undeniable, supported by the fact Thompson’s second for metres made and Hills nowhere to be seen. The only Wire player who should be in the elite squad is Clark.

Mitch Garbutt is an underrated prop. 17 out of 21 games in 2017 he had 100m+ games with an average of 141m and 18 out of 21 games in 2016 with an average just short of 140m. He came back from injury vs Widnes the other week with no training and did 123m and then 196m vs Hull the other night. Whilst there's more than just making metres as a prop, in that department he's as good as anyone in the league.
