| Quote: DGM "I'm sure those Wigan fans really care too. They're raising a glass to winning the Grand Final, you're raising a glass to a mid-season league win. Says it all really. You're one-eyedness is duly noted, luckily you're an exception compared to the majority of Wakey fans.'"
Good for them but 62 - 0 you just can't argue with that. No I'm not an exception every Wakefield fan took great pride from that day and will remember it forever.
If you and you new buddy Orrell were not such small minded snobbish individuals intent on diminishing Wakefield's brilliant effort on the day you'd realise it's a back handed compliment to Wigan you absolute pair of cretins. We have beaten other teams by bigger margins but never one that went on to win the title, is it sinking in yet? No because the problem is that you can't get it because it just doesn't fit in with your world view on how thinks should be, but that's sport and if you ever grow an intellect you'll realise that.
It was a great victory because of who it was against and all the pathetic excuses made by Wane and certain fans made it even sweeter because we know we really rattled Wigan that day - you could see it on the players faces - luckily for Wigan it had a positive effect and seemed to galvanise them.
However whilst people like Orrell try to deny the truth and people like you support them Ill continue to point out the undeniable truth [size62-0[/size
Oh, and your stupidity is duly noted.

Been a weird off season for us. I can see top 8 being harder for Dragons to achieve. Still hope there are worse teams in the division than us.

I think you have the same chances as us (Leeds) and a few others who could be comfortably mid table or easily Middle 8's but it's difficult to see much more. For me, Wigan, Cas, Warrington and Hull are a good step ahead of the rest right now but it wouldn't surprise me how places 5-12 shape up at all as there isn't a great deal of difference between the rest of the squads, will probably come down to injuries to the key players.

What about Saints.
The started to click at the end of last season and Cunningham seems to be finding his feet ?

I hope we are better in that area this year.
Elima and Carney being two massively injury prone players we have moved on.
We will miss Taylor though, if only he'd get fit, he would be the best player in the world.

I'm still to be convinced. A Pretty average at best back line. They are probably the most likely though to get in the four out of the rest, should one of my touted four mess up

| I can't really see any realistic scenario where Wigan, Wire, Hull or Saints get dragged into a scrap. And given what Cas did last year with a ridiculous injury list, plus the recruitment they've done this year, you can probably add them to that list too. People are bound to quote Leeds and Hudds 2016 at me, but actually, alot of people did tip Hudds to struggle (maybe not to that extent) and nobody knew what Leeds would do with the players they had lost.
I posted my predictions a few weeks ago, but actually alot has changed since, and my mind has been changed about who might be vulnerable. I still think Salford will be ok. They haven't really strengthened, but their squad was already a decent one, and a bit of stability is probably what need after the rollercoaster that has been Koukash's tenure so far. Widnes are interesting. I have never rated Brown as highly as some, but his record speaks for itself, and if they can't find a good replacement then they look in danger.

| I can't believe that people who don't get paid to do so, expend so much processing power on the conundrum of who will finish where; or get so exercised when someone they don't know and probably never will, suggests that their team will finish in a position lower than they themselves hope/expect.
I know it's the off-season, but come on...

It's the age of t'internet Bren, all reasonable conversation is gone and we now live in the black and white world, with nothing in between.
We're all lovers or haters now.

| We (Leigh) are happy to be back in SL, I believe we are one step closer to 2 FT leagues of 10 when Toronto & Toulouse are established in the Championship.
At the minute I'm happy with our recruitment, I do believe we will find it difficult but I also believe we will find our feet and will get better as the season goes on, I know we have left cap space for mid season additions if we need to strengthen. I'm looking forward to our strategy next year with the added influence of Paul Cooke & Keiron Purtill alongside the established Samoa & NRL conditioning coach we have signed Scott Campbell
I'm very underwhelmed at some of the other clubs rosters at the minute and I think Leeds, Widnes, Catalan, Salford & Hudds all look considerably weaker than last year.

| I love how you can be underwhelmed with the rosters of two clubs which are littered with international competition players including arguably some of Englands best players, and Catalans who have brought Greg Bird on their books, but are happy with the average signings which Leigh have made

The game in this country can barely sustain a 12 team top flight. What makes you think it could sustain two full time leagues of 10? It could be branded any way people want, it will still just be the Championship and subsequently receive little interest from all but a very minimal amount of people.

Toronto a stablisted championship team? They will be in superleague in 2019 I reckon
