At least you have learned how to spell 'delusion''"
Something we need to address then for next year if we're going to make any decent challenge.

Well we certainly can't depend on Leigh or Salford for that

You're being disingenuous. Most of those promotions didn't involve jumping the hurdles now put in front of championship clubs. In fact it's never been more important to have a big money backer if you are to have any chance of competing with SL sides in the middle 8s and thereby be promoted.
Not all of those promoted sides you quote did so on the back of millionaires but all future promotions will have to be imo.

It's now arguably easier for a championship club to get promoted as if they make the top 4 then they have an equal chance of making the top 3 or even 4/5 for the MPG. The fact that some SL clubs survive without spending the full cap shows that it is possible to succeed and the championship clubs are now able to spend the same amount of money as the SL clubs if the so wish.

45 Bulls fans might disagree with that.

Far better if we had never had relegation and stuck with
Bradford Bulls
Castleford
Fax
Leeds Rhinos
London
Oldham
Paris Saint-Germain
Sheffield
St Helens
Warrington Wolves
Wigan
Workington
And just told the rest to shove it.
Oh apart from the fact that Bradford managed to go bust whilst still in SL with 10000+ crowds and all the advantages of a recently winning side.
I'm not anti Bradford and as a fan you'd have to be harsh not to feel some empathy for other fans, but lets be realistic the custodians of the club were the ones who managed this decline.'"
Castleford who were immediately relegated, then promoted, then relegated again, then got a franchise but would have been relegated as they finished bottom and would have gone bust if not for a last minute gift from Uncle Jack
Huddersfield, promoted, finished bottom 3 years on the trot but weren't relegated because of the standard of the clubs winning the NFP. Merged, Then relegated
Hull FC Promoted, went bust and would have been relegated but rescued by merger.
Leigh promoted then immediately relegated after embarrassing themselves. spent a decade in the lower leagues, struggled financially and were saved from relegation to the lowest division by implosion at another club.
Salford promoted, relegated three years later, promoted again, relegated 4 years later, went bust, struggle and survive solely on the largess of Koukash
Widnes relegated, spent 5 years struggling, promoted, then relegated again, then went bust, then promoted under franchising, built well.
Hull KR promoted, did no youth development, got a franchise. Relegated again.
Yeah that's erm... success?

| What's the problem?
RL in this country has never been better.
Another team going to the wall, England showing their true colours again
Clubs signing overseas crocks as standard.
No decent half backs with this "consistency" that is harped on about.
No, there is no problem with the game in this country, I get told this by the knowledgeable on this forum any time the obvious is pointed out.
Ah well, I'm now converted to the high level of mediocrity seen as success. Thanks.

| When Bradford went into admin the first time I followed the sorry saga avidly, especially with the R.F.L's involvement regarding the lease.
The second time it happened it was more personal, as my club were the benefactors of the mess-up.
This time, probably like a growing number of Bradford fans, I just haven't got the energy to care.

We were in administration for 1 whole day, and copped a 9pt deduction for it.
Extremely harsh.

I think the RFL/Administrator accepting the offer of a man with no money is fairly blame-worthy don't you?

Being an fc fan at that time I dont recall fc going bust. We just wanted to lower our wage bill and play in the nfp. That was blocked the rest is another story
