| huddersfield comfortably the worst of the 3 currently so likely to go down if the MPG is between 2 SL clubs. I'd prefer hull kr to go down of course

| There will be major ramifications if a SL club goes down and whilst nobody seems to like Koucash very much, without his cash, Salford are a basket case and would probably go under, which nobody wants to see.
Huddersfield would be ok in terms of surviving as a club and would be the SL club best place to come back to SL.
KR could be similar to Bradford, in that they would be favourites to come back up and if we are realistic then, there would only be Bradford and any relegated club that have a sensible chance to gain promotion next season.
Just on a side note.
With Batley winning today, the second spot in the MPG could be anyone and as an outside bet and with Kear motivating them, what chance of Batley getting into and then winning the MPG ?

There is not a cat in hells chance Batley will make the mpg. Think it will be Hull KR and Salford (not sure where though...)

It's the attitude of people who think rugby league doesn't exist outside Super League that is a big problem. They wouldn't be lost to the sport mate, just relegated to the division below.

I didn't mean they would be lost entirely, but when a club is relegated there is a loss associated with that club. The clubs who can best stand this loss or where the loss isn't as great would probably be better going down than those where the loss is greater.
It would seem to me that if Koukash stays at Salford, they and Huddersfield wouldn't "lose" as much as Hull KR by going down.

| Salford finish fourth or fifth, they'll have to play away in the MPG. Sale are at home at 3pm the same day and live on TV I believe.

Will the RFL or Salford have the balls to say stuff Sale? I think not.

high grade nonsense and hyperbole - so there is no one playing, watching or otherwise involved in the amateur or youth parts of the sport?

| Wouldn't so much want a club to get relegated as it is heartbreaking.
However Leigh deserve their place in SL. Finished top of the championship 3 years in a row, in that time losing about 5 games. Good stadium and i'm sure their crowds would increase. They'll bring more to SL than a lot of teams have.
Salford as said don't really bring anything despite Koukash pouring money into them. Attendances are pitiful and their academy isn't much better. You could argue it's justice for them cheating 2 years ago.
Hull KR have a good stadium and an excellent fan base. I think they bring the most to SL, However i feel they will be the team to go down. Salford have 3 championship teams in a row, so the likelihood is they will get 3 victories in a row. That will give the team and training ground a lift and instill a bit of confidence into a team that won enough games to finish in the top 8 if it wasn't for the points deduction. Hull KR finished 11th in the regular season. They have a small squad and looked to have picked up even more injuries form the Leigh game. I fear for them.
Be interesting what happens to all 3 if they come down as even if their Chairman continue to bankroll them, i'd expect most of the playing staff's contracts to be void, so they're effectively starting from scratch with most players already signed up with other clubs.

| Salford deserve to go down as they cheated the cap and are now paying for it, i hope for the good of the game they do go down it sends a message out rules carn't be broken or you suffer, they should have been a top 8 side without the deduction.
Every club in SL would benefit having Leigh in rather than Salford.
