There was also some trouble from Salford fans at the end of the Cas game. Nothing major but needed stewards to intervene, seemed to be a very small minority though (about a group of three or four). Credit to the rest of the Salford fans though, they identified the culprits to the stewards quickly and we're obviously annoyed at their behaviour.

I think the RFL should come down hard on all the teams involved and deduct 20 points from every team involved. AS there was not one mention of Huddersfield fans that should put us top of the table for at least another 5 rounds !!!!!

Bull. If it was about violence all the Mail would have to do is go in any city centre on any Friday or Saturday night.

If RL isn't important enough to be reported on then neither is any violence at an RL game. If it is important enough then it deserves its results, reports and stories reporting on too.

Well when there has been fan trouble in the past we have seen fines but given what is being said about this with players involved and people getting hurt then a serious investigation is needed.

Points deduction would be a good place to start to shame these people in front of their entire clubs. Bans for the people involved from every ground, for life why not? We need to be tough and come down on this shameful behaviour. Last of all, if it comes out that someone was purposefully and positively hurt then the culprit needs a criminal conviction coming down on him. The club and the RFL need to come down on this as hard as possible.

Think a points deduction would be harsh unless Salford have a recent history of crowd violence.
Definite bans for those involved. And if it does involve any amateur RL players then ban them from the amateur game too.

They always have articles about drunks in town centres. Of course it's about violence. They say rugby not rugby league in the headline. You are just being paranoid. Yobbery has no place in sport or society. Whether that's rugby league or not.

One comment on the Mail's website calls for the player to be reported to the police for seemingly obstructing the airways of the apparent yob. Hope that doesn't happen as somebody needed to take control.
