Quote: K-Diddy "You pedalling the same crap you tried on the FC forum on Thursday night then? Pryce has been one of our better players so far this season.
FC announced his signing on 1st July, Catalan said they wouldn't be playing him again on 26th August, they then announced the signing of Carney on 16th September. You're account of things doesn't add up.
The Todd Carney incident happened the day before Pryce was announced as a Hull player so he already knew he wasn't going to be in France this season.'"
My account might not all add up but some of it adds up, namely that once Leon Pryce knew that his wasn't going to be staying with Catalans his performance level went down. His "inconsistency" of performance is something that has been noted at his other clubs. The Catalans coach decided to drop Leon Pryce because he was not playing at his capacity. No one doubts his talent. What everyone has noted is that he is not always performing to his capacity. I considered his performance against Hull KR substandard, to put it kindly (notwithstanding the bogus try he scored because of referees' mistakes). He provided little leadership. Did you think he was actually playing well by his own standards of excellence?
BTW I think that even playing well within his limits, Leon Pryce would be a good acquisition by London Broncos.
