Be nice to have NRL refs who know the international rules! They look out of their depth when their is only one of them having to control the game.

Two refs at international level is perhaps the way forward.

At least that way, the Aussies and the English get to select one each because neither of them support the concept of neutral refs.

I was always in favour of video referees because I thought it would be impossible to screw up a decision. But since its inception there have been some absolutely shocking calls. We should cut it loose and save the money.

The thing about the VR's decision is whether people think it was a try or no try, I don't think anybody else in a million years believes that the "ball was on the rise" or whatever explaination he gave.

The simple fact is he didn't have the bottle to give the try against the Aussies because he's an Aussie.

It's unfair on the officials in a way that this gets thrown at them because they shouldn't be put in that position. Ryan Hall said he'd been told it would have been a try in superleague but it's a try in anyone's money.
