How else do you qualify to be a Dr apart from by having a Phd?

| And a sell-out crowd would mean they might still be trying to get in at midnight.
6,000 on a Thursday night and the kick-off delayed. How on earth did that happen ? Was there just one turnstile open ?

The entrance to the underworld is a scary place.

They're like a fantasy league team where you spend loads on big names and have to finish the team of with "cheaper" players.

There was an accident on the M62 and I understand the police police asked the stadium to delay kick off as there were clearly a lot of people trying to get there. Hardly anything you can legislate for and certainly not the fault of the Salford club.

| Why would the police ask them to delay the kickoff? It would hardly help to relieve congestion, would it?

Again heresay, but to avoid drivers taking unnecessary risks in the vicinity of the accident by giving them a bit of extra time?

Just suspicious after the first home game where kick off was also delayed for a 60% full stadium.
The access and cash turnstile issues need to be resolved over the season.

at least they are creating employment in the local area. It took 3 people to get me into the stadium, all stood within a 5 meter diameter.....1 to sell me a ticket, 1 to check the ticket and 1 to operate the turnstile.

| As for Salford and Dr Koukash...
I don't think Salford were as bad as people are making out. I think they were up against a superb and in-form Saints side. If this had been the Salford of last year I think we'd have been looking at a 60/70 point thrashing. As it was Salford were competitive for parts of the game and with more composure (both in defence and attack) and better kicking they could've caused Saints some problems.
I think it does go to show just how far Salford have to go before they can realistically expect top 4/top 6 finishes.
As for Dr Koucash, IF he's in it for the long term, and there's no reason to suggest he isn't so far, then I think he'll be fantastic for Salford and for RL. I think he'll give RL a bit more confidence to go out there and sell itself.
I hope some of the things he says are just for PR purposes, but he's spot on with his comment before the game re clubs just sitting there and expecting fans to turn up.

Unfortunately our experience a couple of years ago has led to us not going last season and probably won't this.
It's not that we've vowed never to go back or anything but due to work, family and finances we pick and choose the away games we go to now and if there's a known issue like the ones at Salford it puts you off from considering going.

You want to try following him on Twitter. Some of the stuff he comes out with on there is proper cringeworthy.
I have no respect for swaggering loudmouths, no matter how much money they have. His sneering derision of the clubs that dared to vote against his precious Golden Ticket shows the kind of person he is.

Yeah I agree with that. He needs to learn how to get people on board rather than just sneer. Because that sneering just comes across as him thinking he knows the solution to every problem. When he doesn't. In the end it's a lot easier for a club like Salford, with his resources, to do certain things. But maybe not so easy at a club like Cas, say, who has to live within its means and every £1,000 is vital.
