| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "If the French powerhouse club Catalans Dragons had had their best team, or even close to their best team, available for their quarter final against Hull FC, they probably would have been playing at Wembley today in place of the Clueless Losers. The Catalans, with Dureau, Bosc, Webb, Casty, Pelissier, Fakir and Duport in form, would have given it to the Wigan team in attack, and made it an interesting game with an international flavour.
Instead we were served up this disgraceful tedium, punctuated by schoolboy errors, where the stand off for Hull drops the ball twice in crucial moments, and the only attacking flair comes from the novice full back and the replacement hooker. Hull FC is not a team that is ready for the Big Time, it is not a time for Finals competition. It is merely a fitting symbol of the parlous state of rugby league in England under the management of Nigel Wood.'"
Agreed. That hull team today was an absolute disgrace, not only to themselves but to the game of rugby league, they've let everyone down.
The argument that ''well you can't say that look how well they defended'' is not valid either. Wigan never had much appetitie to stretch the defence and simply went through the motions of playing out their posession and forcing repeat sets, they too also had their fair share of errors as well.
Hull -

That Catalans game was almost as bag as the final

| Hull should be fined after that performance for bringing the game into disrepute!

| Really poor game - how did Daniel Holdsworth ever get a game in the NRL let alone play over 70 times!! If Hull cannot find a youngster better than Miller then the development staff need firing - if he is a product of NRL youth development then it is no wonder they want the likes of Jordan Baldwinson.

| You know you're in trouble when Hull City score more than Hull FC.

I don't know what "bag" means in this context. Is it Bradford slang?
But as for the Hull FC vs Catalans game, it was awful because Catalans were massively understrength.

Worst CC Final I've ever seen today by a long way.

After 2 years of domestic and international dross in this country, it'll be a huge relief to welcome some world class players and teams of real quality to our shores in a couple of months time.

Unfortunately I agree, we did not show our game in a
Good light at all today. The officials not knowing the rules topped it off.
The disappointing thing is that the BBC actually did a good job promoting the game all week. Every day this week I saw the avert, usually before the 10 o'clock news.

| Commented the same whilst watching shocking game of RL.
Wigan needed to do very little to win it.
Wigan where pretty one dimensional in offence but did basics reasonably well apart form last 20 mins. Hull where shockingly bad. Had very little to do in defence (albeit a lot of it) as Wigan offered very little going forward. Offensively Hull where a joke, half backs looked like they had been pulled from the Under 19's.
I really struggled to pick a man of the match. Marty Smith must be the least worthy Lance Todd winner but suppose he was best of a bad bunch.
Hope Darryl Goulding is ok looked in a bad way.

| At least we won't have to watch tedious incompetence from Hull FC at Old Trafford, because Hull FC won't be there.
