Leeds and Saints were the two best sides in SL last year. rlDetails hererl.
Quote: NickyKiss "aren't the play offs designed so teams that finish 5th-8th cant meet in the final?'"
Nope, after the first round the teams that finish 5th-8th are guaranteed not to meet until the final. The only certainty is that the final will not be between 5th & 8th or 6th & 7th.

3. Wigan
4. Catalan
5. Saints
6. Wakey
7. Hull
8. Hudds
Not a list of who I hate most.
Would like Leeds to beat Wire as revenge for CCFs same applies to Wigan. Catalan because its good for the game. Saints are in 5th because although its fun to beat them I am taking pity on them so they dont lose 6 in a row. Wakey because they have been through so much. I dont like Hull but they bring lots of fans and rivalry. Hudds offer nothing!!

| I hope its Wigan and Warrington so that last year starts to look like the anomaly it was, and people will shut up about it not mattering where you finish or how you play in the regular season. Once every 5 years or so results like last year ought to happen just to show the value of the play-offs, but far too many people have extrapolated what happened last year into some inevitable event. Sadly that would appear to include the entire Leeds squad.....

No doubting it would be good for French RL and would be nice to see a different team get there than the usual suspects - not sure if it will improve English RL directly though.
1-Wire
2-The team that earns the right to play Wire

| If not Leeds then a Warrington vs Wigan GF as they're the best 2 teams and have yet to contest a final together in these recent years when they've been the best. Would be nice for Saints to win one but if they got to Old Trafford against either of those 2 i suspect the more likely outcome is another lacking in ideas attacking performance from them on the biggest night, only 9 tries in those 5 defeats they've suffered, you ain't going to win many games scoring less than 2 tries on average.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

Wigan finished top so it should be who earns the right to play us IF we get there
I hope it's a Wigan v Wire final

| Wakey vs Wire, overseen by Monsiuer Alibert and with our winning try scored at the end of a 7 tackle set.
