If Burgess had been available I'd have had him at LF. He's an automatic pick there for me. Would have picked SoL infront of Heighington, too. Unfortunately, both are unavailable.
However, I don't think that he's been bad. He's been okay, not outstanding, but not poor at all. |

Heighington isn't having a bad game, he's just being outshone by the rest. Don't think anyone is having a 'bad' game, but Chase and Tomkins are head and shoulders ahead.
Next try decides the winner IMHO

Alot to be pleased with there. Especially in the backs where we are apparently weak. Touches of class from Tomkins, great finishing by Hall, Briscoe busting tackles with every carry. Even if we dont do anything in this comp we have alot to look forward to.

| Very enjoyable half, good performance but a few momentary lapses have cost us. Sort those out and there is no reason we can't win this game. Doing it is another matter though

Heighington looks steady but that was a poor attempt.
Having said that we have played well and the game looks winnable.
Hall has put on a master class in finishing but for me Yeaman's defence on the other side has been equally impressive

Leaving Carvell out for 2 back rowers on the bench (effectively 3 as that is where Sinfield went when Widdop came on) could come back to haunt us. Not as well balanced as it could be.
Having said that, I'd have left Wilkin out and he's gone well so far!
