Perhaps the money was spent on facilities to play a sport that there was significant demand for. It's not like you come across netball pitches outside school grounds. |

Well he's got his own squad this season, not what was left him by Mc Dermott. On paper it looks a much stronger than a London squad has for a long time, and we've spent pretty much up to the salary cap so I'm willing to see how he goes with it this season. I think we had a realistic finish last season with a rookie coach and a weak squad, but this season Powell has better players at his disposal and the experience of last season to learn from. Quietly confident maybe? Certainly more hopeful of a better finish for the coming season. |

To be fair, Women's football is one of the fastest growing games in the world at the mo. Should have been spent to get more women into mud wrestling or some such. |

RL , Cricket and Football get sport england money to encourage people to play their sports , thats eveybody , men , women ,kids , why shouldn't netball get the same ? |
