| Quote: TrinityIHC "I think we can all agree that every club has it's fair share of idiots, some clubs like Cas just have more than their fair share. It's just one of the facts of life, but again the majority of Cas fans are well behaved and still passionate, without resorting to this sort of thing. Or the Gareth Thomas episode, or the bottle throwing episode etc.'"
Unlike Wakefield who never do anything
Like attacking Kirkpatrick or that woman attacking a ref the other week, or 2 years ago when there were a good 10 letters that season in the League Express about Wakefield fans breaking car windows and smashing wing mirrors or invading the pitch at Cas to trying goad the home fans into violence...

| I'm pretty sure Fully will be along in a bit to tell us it wasn't really Cas fans causing the trouble. He will say it was Wakey fans in Cas shirts trying to give Cas a bad name.

| Saw abit of goading between two groups of Leeds & Cas fans outside the Polypipe stand, but the Police watching it nearby didn't seem too concerned by it.
The vast majority of fans made their way out of the ground to the car parks quietly.

| I didn't see much trouble at all. The only potential trouble was well after the game when a couple of Cas fans were exchanging abuse with a couple of Leeds fans in a minibus.
Apart from that it all seemed very good natured to me. Had a chat with some Cas fans in KFC after the game and everyone seemed to wish each other well.

| Unfortunatly all clubs have a small minority of mindless idiots who follow their team and it's always those ones that people remember.
I've had the fortune of following Wigan to most away games over the years and enjoyed friendly banter with fans of every club.
Don't let a couple of idiots who can't handle their ale spoil this great sport.

Indeed. Praise the good work done by KFC's across the land.
In this case it helped ease the pain of losing in the Cas fans we were with and in my case helped ease the headache brought on by the stress of Chase's last minute drop goal attempt.

Aaaah, I see.
I post a picture of a fictional character trying to emphasise the futility of this thread due to the unwillingness on here to accept that nobody from Leeds or Cas is to blame for any of the trouble that occurred at the game between Leeds and Cas and you resort to insults........not a Cas fan by any chance are you?

You Wakey fans are obsessed by me. It really is getting quite boring.

No you didnt.
I believe there would have been some goading but not to an old man with a walking stick. While Leeds do have their fair share of idiots I dont think even they would have stooped that low.

| Every team has some stupid idiots who struggle to get dressed in the morning as fans. It's sad I know, but that is just generally how society is...most people are normal decent individuals....some are just useless tools. I think the recent riots show that.
It's up to clubs and their security to stop pitch invasion and its up to the local police forces to monitor behaviour of supporters leaving the stadiums.
Due to alcohol and some people's inability to understand they've had too much then abusive language, fighting etc do happen. It's just up to decent folk to try and stop this behaviour as much as possible.

Well said that man!
As a Cas fan I accept we have our share of idiot supporters, its about time the fans of certain other clubs, notably our nearest neighbours who try to derail every thread relating to Cas would do likewise. Cas are very proactive at home games in trying to reduce crowd trouble but at away games their's a limit to what they can do...
