| Two or three of the darts commentators on Sky actually work in RL and football too, I'd love to see them given a chance of commentating on Sky. I think it's John Gwyne who comes to mind, he works for Soccer Saturday and SSN doing updates. One of the younger fellas at Sky does it too.

Haha John Gwynne the most enthusastic man to commentate on the ongoings at a Stockport vs Dagenham, League 2 soccer game... i admire his enthusiasm

| Have you guys forgotten what life was like before Sky? Coverage generally, camera angles in particular was even worse than ITVs coverage of a football Cup Final. Of the current team, Eddies a good 'anchorman', Stevos worth a listen, Phils statistical analysis is unsurpassed, Bill has improved immeasurably over the last year or two, Jons a worthy addition and, lastly, but by no means leastly (?), Barrie, Terry and Rod all are working really well now. So why change a pretty good format. I agree with evolution, not revolution. And anyway, the RL coverage is the main reason I subscribe to Sky.

| Eddie, Stevo & Clarkey need the boot, ban Cullen from ever appearing get in Stuart Pyke/John Gwyne to do commentary with Wells and John Davis from Sky Sports News as the anchor with Carney and a guest. (was in the studio for the World Cup and did a great job).

| Frasier Dainton presented Wigan's WCC dinner and was pretty good. He always seems quite knowledgeable when reporting on SSN as well. I'd have him presenting in the studio with Stevo and a guest somehow relative to the teams playing.
As commentators I would have a new play-by-play guy alongside Clarkey and either Brian Carney, Baz or Tez with Jon Wells doing analysis and Bill Arthur the in-game reports.
As others have said, Boots n All would show highlights of all 7 games, plus the previous weeks Championship game and would go through the results and news stories from all levels of the game presented by Dainton.

| It really could be massively improved, with just a few tweaks.
I'm not a fan of Hemmings, but if they are going to use him, either make him the front man in the studio,or the lead commentator, but not both.
On a similar point, other sports change their commentators around.Hemmings is just over exposed and therefore comes out with all the same rubbish - so,have different commentators for the fri and sat games.
Why on earth do they need four commentators/analysts in the box - they all churp up to justify their existence.Limit the box to a commentator and an intelligent analyst - obviously not Stevo - and then allow one or two analysts to comment before,at half time and after the game. Then at least they all have defined roles.

Ban Paul Cullen?
He talks a great game.

| Think they should utilise Fraiser Dainton, Angela Powers and Brian Carney more. One of these should be the host in the studio along with Jon Wells and a Super League coach or player.
I'd then have Eddie or Bill Arthur alongside Stevo or Phil Clarke in the commentary box with Rod Studd on the sidelines.
I'm not a big fan of Bill Arthur or Phil Clarke but better than nothing I suppose.

| Half the time I end up turning the sound off during the game.
Eddie's 'commentating' is awful. A commentator should tell us the name of the person with the ball/making the play, inform us of interchanges, inform us of any players switching positions and throw in some facts & figures. Eddie forgets players names, try's to throw in his own opinions/analysis and comes accross bias towards the top teams.
Stevo's job should be to provide expert summary and in-game analysis. He should explain why teams have done something, explain certain rules and their outcome. He shouldn't be telling teams what to do ('go for the 1-pointer', h'e's got to get the message out' etc.), he should be there to explain the game from an experts perspective and point out the subtle changes in tactics/errors and rules. He's a joke.

| Jim Nantz (CBS NFL & Golf commentator) was working for the BBC over the weekend, could Sky bring him in for a few weeks to see how he goes, fantastic commentator and does his job - tells you what's happening and throws in some facts...and he wont be needed for NFL duty until September at the earliest.
Even with no knowledge of the game he would make Eddie look even more amateurish.

| I'd like to see a proper highlights programme, rather than the one we have now. I'd like to see extended highlights of the match of the round and not just the Sky game. Have Brian Carney (or Jon Wells or whoever) at the ground, reporting the main game and have a commentator in place. Also put the Paul Cullen match analysis in the highlights programme and have another feature on Boots n All instead. The highlights programme should have a better name than 'Boots N All - The Tries' too. And less of the cliches please during commentary (Rod Studd, I'm talking about you!)
Also, I'd like to see a Futbol Mundial/Total Rugby-style programme showing RL from around the World and Internationals.

| They need to stop commenting on every refereeing decision, they scrutinise everything and make every game sound like it was decided purely by referees. Yes, the referees won't get everything right, but most games are decided by the teams at the end of the day. If a controversial decision in the very last minute decides a game there a few ways of looking at it. One is to whinge at the whole game came down to that, and scrutinise the man in the middle. The other is to see that there are eighty minutes to get it right and arguably a decision at the final whistle has no more significance to one on fifty. The controversy creates a story for the commentary team, but the game suffers.
Clarkey has proven he cannot be impartial like carney is, so he needs dropping. Stevo and eddie, it's stale, it's cliched, and it's so so predictable, so it needs changing. Every so often we get a analyst who really knows their stuff, like for instance John Kear, it's not all bad. I like the presentation, it's clear and modern, we just need better people regularly fronting it.

Skys coverage of RL is good.
Generally speaking all the presenters are good in certain ways.
Some of the moaning on here is just embarrassing
