Even better idea, send Toulouse back to Elite 1 and let them build up the French leagues properly... I was never in favour of seeing a French club in the Championship. I dont know how the RFL came up with the idea of having a team with a smaller salary cap and much more travelling to do would improve the standards of the French game.

Don't forget that while they stay in the Championship they have to tick the boxes BUT if they return to the French league they can be INVITED to apply for SL under the current rules without winning the NRC or competing in a Grand Final.

no,a half decent coach would have put them in the top four - the reason for the poor display is the ineptitude of the coach - he lost the dressing room months ago and this is the result.

lezignan being more deserving and a better all round club has nothing to do with the toulouse coach.

And that would be the day I would completely end my relationship with this circus!

I doubt it would happen sanj. Not even the RFL could put a gloss on clubs jumping backwards, forwards and sideways through ever shifting hoops, improving all areas of the club only to find out the only thing you need to do to be in super league is to be and french!
