Dotted 9 times in 16 seasons...I believe you are correct PHIPPS which makes a change, but given you were trying to be funny, it's no surprise that you failed

Yes, 1990-91 season. IIRC Greg Mackey kicked the match winning drop goal.

Leigh 1 Warrington 1 1982 Premiership 1st Round.
Wire won the replay by 1 point too (I think)

I remember both games. It was a real tough contest. IIRC Hull lost their star import Scott Gale which made a difference and Fax scraped through but their side wasn't nearly as good as the side that got to Wembley the year earlier and they got stuffed by Wigan in the final.

I think Tony Anderson scored the only try in the two games, ironically he later became assistant coach at Hull under Shaun McRae.

actually didn't hull fly gale back over just for these games, as he would have been back in the aussie game by this time in our season

| England vs Australia 1930 test series. Only ever test match to finish 0-0. Believe a 4th test was played to decide series.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

We won the fourth game, played at Rochdale, 3-0. In fact Australia's 'Chimpy' Busch almost certainly 'scored' what would have been the winning try in the 0-0 draw, but although the ref thought it was good the touch judge flagged that Busch had hit the corner flag in the act of scoring and the ref wasn't allowed to over-rule him.

| Wigan's 8 in a row cup run started with a 2-0 win over Bradford at Central Park in January 1988. How different the next few years might been had Bradford nicked that one.
Like said previously though, 0-0 games were very common in the early "Northern Union" years. I know it's liked to be said that Rugby League was born in 1895 but truth was it was more in 1906-07 that the modern game as we know it was born. It was in that season that rucks and mauls were replaced by the play the ball and they also reduced from 15 to the now traditional 13 a side and immediately they did that, the amount of scoring rose dramatically (Rugby Union have still not cottoned on to this fact!)
