| If we're going the double header route do the Milennium stadium rather than Wembley. Id imagine its much cheaper and lets be honest, its a lot easier to get there

| Quote: Sheldon "When you say success what have the attendences been?
The Aussies can't be bothered to watch their national side in parramatta, why should we cater for them?'"
The two Australia - New Zealand games played at Loftus road attracted over 15,000.
There were less than 13,000 in attendance at The Stoop in 2009.
Without significant discounting of tickets, I'd be surprised if you could pull that sort of crowd in Leeds or Wigan for an Aus-NZ group game.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| Quote: gutterfax "Mistake if it is. No way will you get 90,000 into Wembley for a competition opener unless there are free coaches from the M62 and it's a tenner a ticket.'"
Put the double header on the first saturday of October half-term. Free ticket for every child + teacher that took part in Powergen Champion schools comp, but they have to buy tickets for at least 2 accompanying adults, to show they're actually going to use the tickets. Schools have to sort out the transport themselves. Works for the FA...
It was easy for me to drag along a dozen mates from Devon in the 90s when GB played Aus at Wembley, none of whom had a clue about RL. We don't have events like that any more.
Millennium seems to make more sense in terms of cost to hire the ground and by virtue of Wales being in it, but Wales will be playing union autumn internationals as well as world cup qualifiers in football, so dates might be interesting.

Double-header, opening fixture, both on beeb, saturday afternoon, wembley, awesome!!
With decent ticket pricing and plenty of marketing, filling the stadium is doable.
I'd go, more of my RL following friends would go than the usual couple, and I'm sure a load of newbies to the game would be very tempted as well.
Wembley this season is the only way to build towards making the WC a proper success.
A double header there would be immense!

| i certainly think double header at wembley could work if the tickets are cheap enough allot of casual aussies, kiwis and welsh would go for the wembley experience even if there not into the sport if the price is right, affordable travel deals with train companys from the north and i think it would be a winner!

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
