| Didn't I hear Stevo say that when Danny Brough first joined Hudds, there was a conflict with him and Luke Robinson both wanting to run the game, but that Nathan Brown has now got that sorted?
By having Robinson out injured for the first couple of months, drastic solution.

| Clarke also commented on Lamont Bryan running in hard with the ball (something he's done ever since his first game, in fact it's just about all he does) that his game has developed - he wouldn't have had the confidence to do that last season.

Are you suggesting Brown has ordered a Mafia style hit on one of his own players.....

| Never heard it myself but my mate told me that in one of the games one of them pointed out that "you should never let a bouncing ball bounce."

| Has anybody mentioned Phil "I love Wigan" Clarke's comments that, according to him, when a player is injuired (like Briers was on Saturday through a neck injuiry & like Matt King has probably snapped his cruicate) apparently they should try to get off the field quicker.

They did
It's consistent with his views that those who get injured are being punished by the rugby gods for things they have done wrong

What's wrong with that? If a ball is bouncing, you should catch it, before it bounces again. You'd be waiting for ages if you arrived at the approximate location of the ball and held out until it stopped bouncing. The other team might pinch it.

But surely if you catch the ball before it bounces it is not a bouncing ball.

For me that's up there with Ian Millward's post-match analysis of a Leeds-Bradford match a few years ago when he referred to Nick Scruton as "Nick Scroton". You couldn't see it, but afterwards you could hear the rustle of twenty pound notes being pressed into his hand.
