I remember I think it was in 2004 when Leigh played Hull in the Challenge Cup, I was walking down to Hilton Park from my house. I was walking with my Leigh shirt on, a car pulled over and stopped. A bald Aussie bloke asked me to direct him, I recognised him but couldn't put a name to his face.

He asked me to direct him to Hilton Park so I jumped in the back and in the back was another person I recognised, it turned out to be Shane McNally and Tony Smith who were coaching Wakefield and who were playing Hull the week after. Really nice people and a strange experience for a 14 year old!
