We have had a fair few at Cas, but for me Brent Sherwin was the worst value for money player we have ever signed. Massive wages but never even attempted to get match-fit when he wasn't injured.

Will have to agree to disagree JB. IMO Michael Smith was a critical part of our promotion season. If we hadn't made it that year we probably wouldn't be there now (Cas would have been hot favs to go up in 2007, as they did do). Therefore Smithy was worth whatever we were paying him. |

Yes, James Goulding and David Hoskins were bad, but there have been far, far worse at Craven Park.
