With regards WMDC money my understanding is that it is dependent on being in SL'"
I think we will be in SL when we can give the RFL guarentees about our ground if they let us in, even if not who are they going to replace us with ? WIth Wakie almost certainly down and out and Widnes in, who else can offer more to SL than we can ?

| Absolutely no sympathy. I'm sick of going over to Yorkshire to dire away ends with no protection from the elements. Five of the Seven Yorkshire Super League sides have this issue. Yet in Lancashire, most sides will be playing in quality stadiums come 2012 when the next licences begin.
For me one of Wakefield or Castleford has to go - both are doing too little, too late in my view to justify the current 7 Yorkshire teams to just 4 from Lancashire.

But what guarantees can you give? If you haven't sold the Jungle and got a high enough price you wont be able to give any guarantees

when going for fpp funding has to be in place it cannot be done on a whim and a promise.the club have said they are applying next week for the fpp.from what im told the hold up was always the council and their promise of the 2 million to get a loan against which has been approved today from wmdc.
now i know today has been a bitter pill to swallow for wakefield and i dont know where you go from here but trying to poor scorn on what cas is doing is simply just sour grapes.

What price do you think we are looking at ? Personally...
I bet you It's not that much, with the investments keep coming and Weystone, PROBIZ and now WMDC helping us out I doubt we need that much money.

If it was up to me both would go. But I think only Widnes are fit enough for promotion. Even though Leigh have a quality stadium, they are not ready for Super League. So one of them will survive - new stadium or not.

Thanks for your great input that isn't biased at all.
Suppose Salford are ok though yeh ?
Also out of intrest who else would you add into the mix ? Oldham ? Swinton ? Manchester University ? There is a reason there are more Yorkshire SL teams, let you work that un' out for yourself.

I didn't realise that at Cas we gave all away supporters a tube of superglue for the soles of their feet to make sure they got wet at the Railway End!!
If it rains move under cover

I am not trying to pour scorn on anything, good luck to you for have the balls to go and fund your own stadium, all I was saying was that there still appeared to be question marks over how you were raising the money. Even your own fans have questioned this on numerous occasions.
If it was purely a case of waiting for WDMC to ratify the GBP 2m to apply why didn't RW say so much sooner having said you FPP would go in in October? How can you use the GBP 2m as proof of funds for the FPP if it is dependent on still being in SL and you won't know that for definite until July 2011?
