Stade des Minimes, Toulouse. Great atmosphere with the brass band playing. The most amazing half time hotdogs I've ever had. Even the journey to the ground on the driverless Toulouse Metro was something to behold. Shame it was £5 a pint.
Mount Pleasent, Batley. Nice big area around the back of the main stand for fans to have a beer together. I love the quirkyness the massive slope gives the place, like the stand that has half a dozen more rows at the halfway line than at the top of the hill.
Least Favourites
Halliwell Jones, Warrington. Looks like it was picked out of an IKEA catalogue, just boring, identikit and soulless, ran out of beer when I was there last which is unforgiveable.
Catalogue Stadium, Br*dford. A big hole with terracing in the bigger hole that is Odsal which is in the even bigger hole that is Br*dford.

| whats your favourite away grounds. describe them all then rate them out of 10.
odsal (bradford) - Good for parking, good atmosphere 7/10
stade gilbert brutus (catalans) - Not been
the racecourse (cru) - Not been
the jungle (cas) Great atmosphere, good banter with the home fans 8/10
headingly (leeds) Great atmosphere, been rained on a few times though 9/10
galpharm (hudds) Good atmosphere, shame there aren't more home fans after the achievements of their team 7/10
kc stadium (hull fc) Great atmosphere, fantastic if we win (obviously) 8/10
new craven park (hull kr) Home - great for us, needs improving north and south stands for home/away fans
saints - Had good (not many) and bad times here, sad to see the traditional grounds go hope the new stadium (looks good) will keep the same atmosphere 7/10
the stoop (quins) Not been
halliwell jones (wire) Great for the play off final in 2006, great ground still 9/10
dw stadium (wigan) Love it! Good parking. Great view. Always take a few and sing our heads off 9/10
the willows (salford) Old ground close to the pitch, another old traditional ground still enjoy going 6/10
belle vue (wakey) my least favorite for atmosphere and view but again still enjoy going 5/10

odsal (bradford) - Basically park where you want, probably the best ground for a quick getaway, reasonably priced entrance, wide selection of food decent bar both inside and out, friendly fans decent toilets, good viewing from wherever you stand, if it rains so what I'm used to it at Wakey 10/10.
stade gilbert brutus (catalans) - Poor viewing behind the sticks with that fencing, having to queue twice for a beer because of the tokens makes it a pain and no food, but still a great w/end 8/10.
the racecourse (cru) - Never watched rugby played there only football. Big improvement on Bridgend though 7/10.
the jungle (cas) Easy parking in town plus decent choice of food, steady plod to the ground after an hour in weatherspoons. Good atmosphere in the ground decent banter with decent fans, like everywhere else you have to queue for beer and food but worth it 9/10.
headingly (leeds) Terrible for parking, decent choice of food a good pint with not too long waiting to be served, decent toilets but oh those arrogant fans 7/10.
galpharm (hudds) Expensive parking difficult to get away from after, alternative park a mile away and walk and run the risk of having the car vandalised. great ground deserves a club with a better following than what it has atm no atmosphere food and drink reasonably priced 5/10.
kc stadium (hull fc) Top ground with electric atmosphere, knowledgable friendly fans, Only down side for me is if you have taken decent following it is difficult getting served at ht as it is not big enough imo 8/10.
new craven park (hull kr) So easy to criticise but I'm sure given time things will improve, toilets especially, big queues' at the two catering vans decent view as it goes always seems to rain when we are there 6/10.
the stoop (quins) good ground, good view, good food, good beer, good day out, better week end though, decent knowledgeable and friendly fans. Ticks all the boxes for me 10/10.
halliwell jones (wire) Could not get in the first season it opened, have not had the opportunity to go since then for various reasons.
dw stadium (wigan) the best of the new stadiums, good parking good range of food decent pint very little queueing, friendly staff that dont throw it at you, friendly stewards even. Fans that talk sense and not cr@p good viewing and most of all one of if not the cheapest admission in SL 10/10.
the willows (salford) Like others its had its day poor toilets, friendly fans, decent parking now although tbf never had any trouble there before with vandals. Food and drink not the best but reasonably priced. 7/10.
Knowsley Rd (Saints) Along with Leeds its the worst ground for parking imo, after that its nearly all good. A decent pint outside the ground, spot on chippy and a decent chinese as well, a good atmosphere in the ground with decent but sometimes biased fans. 8/10
belle vue (wakey) Not much to say what has not been said before, You could pick faults with most if not all other clubs in SL, the problem we have is that we have more faults than most and quite a lot of the criticism is well justified although some does seem over the top and a bit hypocritical from certain fans what have short memories.'"

I actually preferred the ground at Blagnac rather than Minimes, though that might be to do with the novelty of watching a game on some decking above a flowerbed

Associating Warrington with Ikea? Er...actually, you're right.
The beer problem happens fairly frequently, but then it's also happened to us both times I've been to Salford and on my one trips to Knowsley Road.

odsal (bradford) - dump (2/10)
stade gilbert brutus (catalans) - not been

headingly (leeds) - take it or leave it for me (5/10)

kc stadium (hull fc) - great stadium when it full of RL fans (8/10)
new craven park (hull kr)
the stoop (quins) - ok (5/10)
halliwell jones (wire) - best NEW Rl ground by a mile. (9/10)
dw stadium (wigan) - same as Galpharm, but a bit fuller (6/10)
the willows (salford) - always enjoy my visits (6/10)
belle vue (wakey)'" - dump (3/10)
I have rated on the basis of I don't give a toss if there are baby changing facilities, carpets in the bog, al a carte restaraunts or any other fancy gimmick, I rate on whether I enjoy WATCHING rugby in them. Cas for me has always been my favourite place to go for away games and I will mourn the day they move to a 'clinic'

| odsal (bradford) -
Complete shiit-tip. No atmosphere and far too big for what it's needed for. The council ought to rent it out for landfill, and use the cash to build a new ground.
stade gilbert brutus (catalans) -
Never been. But I don't like it because it's French, and too far away.
the racecourse (cru) -
Not bad, actually, and close to the town centre, so handy for the post match booze up, for which Wrexham comes very highly recommended, particularly if you're a single bloke.
the jungle (cas)
Never been, for some reason. Not sure why. Never got around to it.
headingly (leeds)
Marvellous ground. Good selection of pubs round the ground, the food and beer aren't all that bad. Corporate facilities are good as well, and the on site hotel is fabulous, and not only for the eight free cans of ale that were left for me, compliments of the management.
galpharm (hudds)
Can't stand the place. A nothing stadium in a nothing town, ocupied by two nothing teams. Boring.
kc stadium (hull fc)
Great ground, but the pies are rubbish. You can't half tell the council own it - it's full of rules and regs, and the staff are over-zealous as hell, as evidenced by the jobsworth who refused entry to a long-established RLFANS user for being drunk, by giving him some politically correct diatribe about him being a risk to not only himself, but other stadium users. Conversely, at the DW, the steward would simply say "eff off, yer p155ed, yer not comin in". Very pretty blue lighting around where the roof meets the rear wall.
new craven park (hull kr)
Clearly a shoe-string effort that looks a lot older than it is. Built in 1987 I believe, but looks about the same age as the Willows. In 1987 it was perfectly possible, for instance, to build a cantilever stand, yet they chose to support the roof using steel uprights IN FRONT OF the seats!
the stoop (quins)
Never been.
halliwell jones (wire)
Smashing. Little. Ground. The two pint pots are inspired; even the women like them - one particuularly dim specimen near me was particularly excited as she shouted to her husband "ooooo! Look at the SIZE of them pints!"
dw stadium (wigan)
Better than people - Wiganers included - give it credit for. Sort the pies out, and reinstate some terracing when Latics get relegated, and it will be as damn near perfect as you'll get.
the willows (salford)
I really like it, in a 'going back in time' sort of way. Awful burgers.
belle vue (wakey)
Like the Willows, and a conspicuous-by-its-absence Knowsley Hole, you get a damn good atmosphere despite the lack of facilities.

| The RFL should read this thread, it's quite evident people don't actually care about new stadiums as long as you can watch the game and have a pint

The Crumbling Terrace is probably the worst accommodation on offer to visiting fans anywhere in Super League (bar KR's option of some scaffolding or some crumbling terracing in the next county, where you can't even see the pitch from)

Fully agree with this - appalling view on the West Terrace IMO - can barely see the corners. Parking is pretty rubbish too. Inexplicably though Leeds v FC is the first game I look for when fixtures are released.

Except for the huge fairground area next to it that can park thousands of cars, as well as the actual stadium car park itself.
Other than that, no. You can't park anywhere near the ground

Hey... I went there once.
We were told the best place to park was on the outskirts of the city (think it might have been on a tescos carpark... certainly a supermarket if it wasn't tescos)
There was a shuttle bus that ran backwards and forwards to the ground. If I remember correctly there was a bus station opposite the car park.
Heaps of others were doing the same thing.
I do remember seeing a carpark close to the ground but it was pretty full... and didnt look that big anyway.
Huddersfield.
Again... only went there once.
Followed signs to the carpark.
On arrival... big sign blocking the entrance saying permit holders only... or staff only.. or something. I wasn't driving and didnt really pay much attention. Fat carpark attendant was turning everyone around. We followed car in front... ended up parking down some side road near the ground... might have been some industrial estate thing.. it was pretty derelict looking.
There may well have been other carparks... I have no idea.
