Hopefully the Cas attendance's will improve this season as we still have 2 very big local derby's in Wakefield and Leeds to come at the Jungle

for any club to be getting less than 3k in a supposed elite level of prof competition is a joke, especially one that was let in on a franchise that was supposed to be about strengthening the competition.

SL needs every club to be averaging over 7k at the very least to be seen as a credible league/sport IMO. And most clubs probably need around that figure to break-even and survive without a sugar daddy. I know HullKR stated last year that they'd need 10k crowds to break-even for example.

So 7K is now the only accepted criteria for RL to move forward-Got it.

What credibility do clubs get that dont bring in their own youth, live in debt and fear of winding up, dont own or play in decent grounds...........................................or doesnt that matter

I didn't say it was the 'only' criteria. Just that 7k should be around the figure that an SL club should be able to break-even, and therefore avoid 'live in debt and fear of winding up' as your post states. And obviously if the club is breaking even it should have more resources to develop young talent and upgrade its ground.

rovers haven't existed for the last 20 years, well to their new found loyal supporters they haven't, hull still pulled in 10k or more for the last few years though

A lot of people I know don't go watching cos 'league games are pointless if they don't give you the league when you've finished top'

I explain to them that finshing top rewrds you with a trophy and also means you have to lose 2 homes to be prevented getting to the GF which is almost impossible, but it doesn't help
