the finish was very straightforward- but Mal Reilly did all the work , sheer brute strength throwing Jackie Brennan over his own head as the Salford scrum jumped on his back to try and stop him and then galloping into the salford 25 ( as it was then) and a one handed pass in traffic that any half back would dream about -

I'll add to bramleyrhino's list with one Paul Medley scored in a game at Central Park where he collected the ball on his own line from a kick-off and went full length to score. Bit like the Hanley effort for Bradford against Featherstone at Headingley.

But Greg going 80 meters in Australia, scoring 'that try' and Kevin Penny's 100 yard effort at Knowsley Road in the CC in 2008, moment of inspiration to pass behind your own line and a thrilling run
