He didnt mistakeingly take them,the then club physio gave them to him. I think at the time he was also employed by the RFL in a similar capacity,but again Im sure you know all this.
As I'm sure you know the stuff Senior tested for can be in masking agents as well as cough medicines. |

Similarly in Long's case he admitted in his autobiography that he'd been unwittingly injected with some naughty stuff by a physio employed by the club who turned out to be a complete fake. The physio had claimed to have worked with the GB cycling team etc but apparently it was all a load of lies and he hadn't a clue what he was on about. |
