| The original poster said that James Graham is "the best prop in the world" - whilst he is a very good club player he certainly isn't the best in the world yet.
If he develops his game further
If he stops the petty hissy fits
If he plays in test matches and regularly plays the opposition (Aus & NZ) off the park
If he can do this regularly for a number of years
Then, and only then, might he find himself on the list. He is getting better but has a way to go yet.
It would be interesting to see how he would perform at another club or even in Australia. He seems to be very much a saints player and a lot of the passion he generates in a game is based on this loyalty and the rivalry with other clubs.
We now have several young British forwards who are being built up by the press and the fans. When they have developed their games to the point where they can regularly dominate the Aussies then we might consider if the term "best in the world" is appropriate (and as a fan of rugby I really hope it happens).

| Quote: McClennan "He's got the potential to be the best British prop since Kevin Ward. I'm not suggesting he's near Ward at his peak and I think they have different games. Ward was a blockbuster but Graham's game is more like a prop from the NRL and he might be the first British player to really get to grips with that since Andy Platt did. Peacock, of course, has been immense but I'm just giving myself a bit of leeway because he played a fair bit in the second row were he was awesome too. I just hope he doesn't get worn out.'"
Wardy is one of my all time favourite players,Graham is very good but he has a lot of catching up to do to be in the same league as Wardy.

He can't be Eddie "Rhino" Hemmings, he didn't say Leeds the champions 20 times in a minute.

| Warrington and Leeds fans calling Graham for Hissy fits ? Do you mean like Richie Mathers and Richie Myler using the V signs towards Wigan fans this season ? Or how about throwing a ball at a debutants head for no reason whatsoever!
Get a grip people and when Saints are in town get down and pay your admission fee, you wont see another Prop forward like this for a very long time. Huge loss if he goes to the NRL. He wipes the floor with any other forward in super league and is a complete pleassure to watch. Forget the chase on Burrow i have never seen any other English prop make a tackle like he did at the corner flag. Made huge ground to launch Delaney onto the side street.
The Ginger beast will be talked about for years. They'll make books and poems about him. Kids will be told 'dont go over that field at night' because the 'ginger beast' will get you. He'll be talked about in the same breath as GOD imo.

The whistle had gone, play had stopped, yet he continued to follow through with the tackle and drag mcguire over the touchline, until mcguire stopped him. So it wasn't for ''no reason whatsoever!''.

good reply. It was a hissy fit moment from the bog eyed one. Very hard man that mcguire.

| There are times when Graham looks awesome. My one reservation about him is that these aren't always the games in which it's most needed.

| Anyway, the real question here should be is Willie Manu human? I've never ever seen him dominated in a collision. 10 more tackle busts than anyone else already this year. Ridiculous strength and balance.

Between him and Lauaki
Lauaki is unbelievably strong and has the best hands ive seen in a forward since Lauititi early in his Leeds career.
