It'll get a whole lot worse next year when they play a full season where fans can pick or choose what matches to go to and the fact they'll be up against both the NRL and AFL through the Winter months, plus the new team in Vic and the fact that the comp is going to turn even more people off seeing as every country in the SANZAR group is guaranteed a semi final spot even if they are house.
The people who look at it occasionally will see it for the farce it is and it's going to off a lot of union fans that see their own teams miss out on a finals spot just so some nuffy team from Perth or Canberra gets a crack that doesn't deserve it.
The comp is doomed!!!!

MES holds around 21,500 (allegedly!). Firsts season they averaged around 28,000 at Subi. This is their first year at MES and they have been getting around 16,000. Mind you they are dire so that probably isn't helping them. |

no! RU is the only sport I would say I "hate". I can live with any other game, but RU is A) a very poor version of RL and B) has done everything in its power to damage RL over the years. I'd rather go watch Glory, and that's saying something!

What can you tell us about the top two shots, Eels?
The others I have seen before.
The top one looks like a Mille v Carcassonne club game at Le Stade Velodrome.
I recognise some of the players - Calbette, Bergese, Llary etc.
I am assuming they are all from the 1949 Final?
