On a more serious note - if I had to choose, I would take the Saints vs Wire game but I must admit I'm looking forward to the Cursaders game more with Thomas' debut than I would be without it

Who's to say Wire won't smash Saints and it be a boring one sided match? Of course, Crusaders could just wallap Catalans and it will be a snorefest. You just never know! Anyway, I tune in every Friday regardless of who is playing, and I am really looking forward to Gareth Thomas' debut. Don't watch much union so no real idea what to expect, but it's a big RL occasion and lord knows we need all the publicity we can get. Biggest of it's kind since Jonathon Davies put on the black and white for the first time? Could be - lets hope he has a similar impact. If he puts on a good show we'll all be glad the Sky cameras are there to showcase it, because if he scores, for example, it will be all over the news and much better to see Sky footage than the club videos.

Both of them sit proudly with what little is left of my DVD collection. Same can’t be said for sky DVDs though that have been left to attract dust in the attic.

as for the sky game, i think it gets boring watching the same teams every week, nice to see different teams

Rather than pay sky £80 per month as I do why not go to 4 games a month (which in a standard month is all games) which cost about £20 max per game - rather than compaining about not having enough money to go to a game and skys choice of games.

As with posters earlier on I watch all 3 sky games at the weekend plus Wakey home and away, and it was nice to see that 2 teams that are not on the Friday/Saturday schedule too often were on, and also interesting to see how Thomas got on, and I must admit I enjoyed the game!

Agreeing with another post the whole Thomas affair should be used by the whole of RL as PR as it is a huge name to get involved with our game.

One last thing is I am sure Sky have a quota as to how many times a club is shown on a season and the cynic in me would say that a big reason to show this game is that it ticks a box to show both clubs on sky and not using 2 games to do this.
