I'll hopefully be in for a damn good thrashing on Saturday night...round my pommie sheilas flat in Barnes.
The footy starts half 2 in the afternoon though I think...so no thrashing for the Aussies there

| I used to have a broncos shirt from down under leisure, but thats too small now.
I worked and saved up £200 pounds in the summer so that when we went to australia in the summer I could buy some NRL merchandise, I spent it all, in one go, at Peter Wynns in Parra.
I now own a bunnies shirt, and a bunnies tracksuit top, as well as a dogs shirt and an eels shirt.
I own them and follow the NRL because it is the best rugby league competition in the world, as well as having and producing the best players, not because I want to be an aussie.

Get real convict!
Who would want too own a sharks jumper?
Why would a Aussie want too live in England?
Why would a Aussie post so much on a English rugby league forum?
Maybe this convict wants too be a pom deep down.

| Got a Roosters, Broncos and NSW shirts.
Just out of interest Barry saw alot of Premier League shirts in Australia last year. Why would AUSTRALIAN people in AUSTRALIA where ENGLISH football shirts so much?
I mean the thought of purchasing a Melbourne Victory shirt would never cross my mind.
Just a thought...

Seriously.
Don't be shy that you want to be an Aussie
i don't want to be an aussie mate, but i probably have at least one representative shirt from all of the nrl sides,i also have a nsw and a queensland shirt, all because i like to wear rugby merchandise from clubs exempt from my leeds rhinos bias
i do not possess,or would i ever for that matter, ever have an australian rl jersey given, cos i hate you convicts with a vengence

| seen as though you keep using the word pom, il use the word criminal. so to answer your quesion you criminal, i own an australian shirt from around 1980 which my grandmother bought my dad after visiting reletives in sydney... my plan is, get as many test stars to sign it who play or visit in and around the surrounding areas of hull. i have only 1 at the minute but its a start, i have shaun berrigan upto now on it but luckily hull have signed o'meley and fitzgibbon so they will be on it soon. before i thought about doing it matt sing had just left hull so i was abit gutted about that. possible targets for next season other then ogre and fitz are greg bird, mick vella, matt gidley and hopefully dallas johnson if he joins catalans... can you give us the heads up of any test players coming or who are already playing in superleague, cheers crim.

| I own a couple of NRL tops. I also own a number of soccer shirts from teams in Spain, Italy, Portugal and Scotland. My reasoning for this if I like a sport I'll watch it whenever I can regardless of what country it's played in.
I find it quite ironic that a number of Ockers on here think Brits want to be them on the grounds they take an interest in the NRL given the massive amounts of time they spend on a British RL forum.
Added to that the last time I was in Aus there was a fair amount of people in Liverpool, Man Utd and various other Premier League tops.
Does this mean they want to be English??

Agree wholeheartedly. As Jarvis Cocker said, "everybody hates a tourist". Speaking of which, how are you enjoying London?

Terrible place.
Dirty.
Overcrowded.
Garbage all over the streets.
Dog excrement everywhere.
Winos.
Homeless people.
Crime through the roof.
Reminds me of being back in Chennai ... only there was elephant excrement on the streets instead of dog.
Roll on next January when I can get the hell out of here
