| MattyB has told me its not safe for me in Wigan. Is it safe for me in any rugby league town or city other than my own?

| Quote: nathanwood7 "There's loads of tickets left for this match. It's the first time an international has been shown live on BBC in the middle of the day for years and years and is therefore the biggest chance the sport has had for many years to appear on the national stage. To get a full-house and a big atmosphere would make a massive difference.
If nothing else, 20 quid to watch the likes of Slater, Inglis and Lockyer (in his last appearances over here) is an absolute bargain.
If the game is in front of an empty stadium then we really can't complain about our treatment by the national press.'"
define loads. 5-10K left? or more. anything under 20K would be shameful
i cant go to any of the group games due to being a poor student, but im booked in for the final and hoping the postal strikes doesnt screw up the tickets getting sent!

| It’ll be a sad day for the sport when we can’t fill a rugby league stadium for the biggest international fixture when just less than a week earlier the exhibition regular round NRL football match got how many in Wembley?

indeed. the question a half empty stadium poses to the RFl is why? is it the fear of inevitable loss to Roo's, ticket prices, too long a season or something else.
I think and hope it will be 22-24K.

You can still buy 20 tickets together in the cheapest price category directly behind the sticks. Tickets are still available in every single block of the stadium.

| I couldnt get 4 together directly behind the sticks last week, you can get 20 in the outer blocks behind the sticks possibly in the North.

| I suspect it'll struggle to break 20k from what I've been told.

| If it does then Wigan should lose this match in future, Hull/Leeds should gain it

Why?
Why would more people turn up if it was in Leeds than they would if it was in Wigan?

No chance of that happening, Duffen doesn't want international RL at the KC, it might clash with his basket-weaving conference.

| Lets not kid oursleves that it's a problem with Wigan(or Hudds, Hull or any other ground if it were somewhere else and didn't sell out). It's a problem for British Rugby League in general and moving these games from one ground to the next won't do us any favours.
A compepative team will do us the world of good as would tickets that are all priced between 20 and 30 quid and not going as high as 40 and 50 quid.
