Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

The Wigan crowd is a perfect demonstration of how those supporters who come on here and moan than "x didn't bring many away fans so we got a poor crowd" are talking out of their ar$e.
Wigan new that they'd have an end with 5,000 empty seats on Friday and yet, rather than sit on their hands and accept it, they went out there, got their marketing team working and came up with a great idea to get new people through the door.
Other clubs have done similar things for the same fixture, it really isn't that hard and if any club feels the need to rlblame away fans for their pitiful crowdsrl, then their Super League status should really be reconsidered.

The 17th best in England and Wales. Better than any football clubs in Newcastle, Middlesborough and, er... Warrington (who have a mid-table team in the 8th level of the English football system) |

I always wonder how many of the fans who complain about the amount of fans Catalan/Quins/Celtic bring to games would travel the distances they do every other week!
I have long said that clubs shouldn't rely on visiting fans to boost attendances, they should be working to get home fans there week in week out and see any away fans as a boost more than anything. |
