| I am also rooting for a PNG victory. Not overly confident though!

| Quote: FlexWheeler "I hope PNG win.
To me, PNG would be the fastest 4th nation to bring up to standard along with france, it's the national sport there. They just need better infastructure and more investment.
I've heard talk of a PNG team in the NRL before, that would certainly help. They are very genetically inclined toward the sport and even we struggled against them when the climate was favourable in townsville 2008.
In terms of developing the national game we should be definitly be focusing on them and france.
Instead we'll probably fart around trying to start rl up in bolivia and lesotho.'"
100% agree. I said that for years.

You should probably read up on the subject before going off on one.
PNG are likely to have a team in the Queensland Cup next year (see link below).

They're also making improvements to the stadium. This is the first step for them gaining an NRL team in the future.
Your last sentence, "Instead we'll probably fart around trying to start rl up in bolivia and lesotho", is ridiculous. The governing bodies (as you can see from that link) are focusing on places like PNG and Fiji, Wales, France etc, places where RL has some sort of presence already.
RL start ups in these far flung places like Lesotho and Bolivia tend to be by a number of dedicated individuals who's effort should be applauded, not ridiculed. Greece for example:

| It's a bit harsh that PNG play Monday and Friday. I can see them putting everything into this one and as a result take a hammering on Friday against nz. Hope I'm wrong

Three games in hull was an odd choice. This could have been in Doncaster

Agree on that, but I suppose they were allowed one poor venue choice after the successes of elsewhere. PNG aren't exactly using their 'home' advantage.

| PNG just don't travel well.
It will always be a problem for their young players, but you'd hope the older guys would get used to travel.
