Couldn't hack it in the much easier French RU and when he went back to Cardiff he was on the beer most nights.
He is the epitome of what can go wrong for rugby players if their heads are turned by things outside of rugby, aka the celebrity limelight/lifestyle rather than the floodlights of a rugby field.
