So, have I got this?

Bradford Bulls are being hunted by a potential buyer who doesn't have the clubs interests at heart as it is public knowledge that they have a HMRC bill to pay.
Part of BBRLC's assets is the ground lease.
If BBRLC went bust, the ground lease would become meaningless and worthless.
BBRLC could then move to VP with no historical debts.
Predator that owns the Bulls can watch them go to the wall whilst making bids to buy Odsals land from the council.

Luckily...

RFL step in and buy the lease from BBRLC
This means the predator has less reason to buy the club
The Bulls future - not just at Odsal, but anywhere - is more secure as it has one less asset to get stripped

As....

The RFL is unlikely to sell the lease to anyone that damages it's own interests.

Do I understand it now?

Or, in summary, the RFL bails out Bradford Bulls. Yep, I think you've got it.

Despite what Adeybull has tried to dismiss, there is only 2 conclusions

1 bailout

2 Bulls blag cash from RFL

Just simplifying things, as I first stated , when this was reported, if it was protection due to the image rights putting the Bulls in jeapody ? , no issue, if it was the RFL taking advantage to purchase a potential future asset at a bargain price ? , no issue

If it is the bulls in financial problems due to bad management or just living beyond their means, or even them fooling somebody ( RFL ) into giving them some cash because of the above , then no, that isn't on,

it isnt simplifying things at all, it is just your attempt to create an either or situation where none exists in an attempt to pretend there are no other possibilities which go against your pre-existing bias.

Just me and the majority of the RL fan base then, if you read through the various threads on various clubs boards? , either way not my problem , it doesnt affect my club, others possibly do have issues understandably

Aligning yourself with the majority of RLfans when ranting against the RFL wouldnt be a plus point for your argument.

My company does a fair few deals like this: Buying a companies assetts, and then selling them back to that company as a service. Whilst we do it with IT, the RFL have done it with property.
It's never called a bailout, or deemed that we have scammed the company, or that they have scammed us.

Quote: Adeybull "No it is not. How do you reach that conclusion?

If it was a bailout, there would be no need to buy the stadium. There are plenty of other, far easier (and probably cheaper) ways that could have been done.

The latest Bulls accounts show the finances remain tight, but the club was solvent. Even if something had happened to mean the club required some form of financial support, it would never be on the scale that required a long-term transaction of this nature and scale.

I have explained at length earlier, if you can be bothered to read.'"

I didn't. What I did, was fail to add a question mark at the end of my sentence. This is because I type up comments far too quickly and rarely proof read them, except for the most cursory glances on the long ones.

I was asking the question, of the poster I replied to, is this all it amounts to in his/her opinion, but clearly fecked up.

I apologise for the hurt, angst and distress caused to you and your fellow Bradford Northern RFL Bulls fans.

I believe the etiquette, in modern parlance, is 'my bad'

You really believe that too, don't you?

Whilst your individual posts may not constitute what you consider to be a rant, the very tone of all your posts is most certainly that of a demogogue.

So because people do business deals that aren't ' bail outs ' or ' scams ' , this cannot be either of those ?

Either the bulls needed the money, or they didn't?
