Pray tell me which Championship clubs besides Leigh and Bradford (and Halifax on a good day) would draw more than 2,000 fans for games against Coventry and Doncaster? Toulouse's average crowd is higher than anyone else despite every game being a walkover.
As for the claim that Toulouse's squad isn't majority French, you'll have to provide evidence for that I'm afraid. It isn't true. This and the fact that you seem to think they will be out of existence in five years (you do realise this is an old club of great heritage and not a franchise, right?) shows that you know little of what you talk about.

Depends how you see the "areas that don't really care" perspective and the fact that the RFL haven't got a clue on fast tracking a development model into potential areas similar thoughts published by the welsh coach Clive Griffiths. The RFL only scratch the surface in marketing potential areas and offer no structure and expertise in a time scale to allow a new club to grow progressively. |

How would they have done playing at Championship level for a full season ?
Maybe top 6 or 7 but not Middle 8's standard.
Let's [iNOT FORGET[/i that they are [iNOT[/i playing on a level field with [iALL[/i the other Championship 1 Clubs & are for all intents & purposes a Championship Club.
The situation will be exactly the same for the [iToronto Centurions[/i
[iRemember[/i also that Catalans had a [i6 YEAR DISPENSATION [/i gifted to them by the RFL, 3 years [iDirect Entry[/i to Super Dooper League followed by 3 Years Licence *which was always the RFL's plan*.

even if you are from Wakefield/Gateshead/Sheffield or wherever. |
