An experienced tip: Don't make any changes until Friday if possible. A number of players will get ruled out through the week, every week. You'll still get dudded every now and then with players pulled out after the lockout, but it's best to think of your changes through the week and make them on Friday if they're all in the clear.

Looks like i'll be making at least one change. Dugan doesn't look like he'll play, again. Yet to decide who will come in though.

Yeah, they were forced changes but 1 was a player I was going to bring in anyway. I have kept 1 just in case of a drop out and wouldn't normally change so early For some reason I picked Winterstein last week so since he's not playing thats forced and same with Big Sam.

I hope he hasn't made mistakes with his selection, it's been a tight tustle between us this weekend and it would be a hollow victory if I won and he's ballsed up.

Bloody Phelan. He crept up a lot over night when the scores were adjusted and he's still got 3 playing tonight. I've got two to play, and should hold out as this week's best score, but I won't catch his season total now.

Ah well, just a minor setback. That teams still pretty damn good even whit 2 out and I should have won that game. Im going to struggle around origin time with the amount of Doggies and Saints I have in though I reckon.

I always struggle big time around Origin time. I fall down the rankings quickly, everytime. It's not so much the rep players, but all the byes hover around Origin and I can never manage it properly. The wildcard will have to be used wisely, or basically when i'm just completely stuffed.

Jumped the gun a bit getting rid of Burgess yesterday (even though I should have 2 weeks back). Anyway I worked it out that if my transfers had gone through like I thought id be 3/3 now and have 161 points more than I do now

Ah well.

I wouldn't be too bothered by it. 161 points isn't going to count for much by the end.

For any hope of winning this league, I need to be top with a buffer going into the Origin/Bye period. But even if I top the points next round, I still might not catch Phelan.

I've had a good last couple of rounds. I'm probably due for a drop this round, so i'm going to gamble a bit more with my transfers. Waiting till tomorrow night or Friday to make them though.

Oh, and our league made a huge jump on the rankings, from over 4,000th to now 1,678th out of 4,951. Be good if we can crack the top 500.

On top of the most abysmal Raiders performance in a long, long time, I have done the same mistake as Harrigan and did not confirm changes this week.

For the second week in a row, i've played Aaron Woods after he was named on the bench both games, only to be pulled after lockout. That sucks, but with Nightingale to play tomorrow, I should get close to 600 points for the round, so that'll help down the line. It's a bit frustrating having the second most points overall, over a hundred points clear of third best, but am ranked 5th in the league.

I'm obviously cutting Woods next week, but I should've learnt my lesson already. Bloody Phelan is all but out of reach now. All anyone can hope for is to have a markedly better Origin/Bye period than him, otherwise he's got this league wrapped up already I reckon.
