Leigh are a bloody terrible side to play against
Niggle isn't the term that should be used as they set their stall out to just rack up the league points required to get them into the middle 8's play off games regardless of what underhand tactics are required to get the desired result
If they were in SL now and showing the same discipline then they would be 2nd bottom and would have had numerous heavy defeats

Hock 1st yellow was for dissent after a run of pens against us. Nothing more than one too many and he was the one on the end of it.

2nd one he did nothing wrong. He was a bystander in the brawl until somebody hit him and he gave a bit back. Was plenty of players on both sides who were more involved but none of them are called Hock. He was harshly done to but I guess he only has himself to blame for his reputation so it's coming back to haunt him.

Brawl was in the 79th minute, game had gone and Batley were shattered and dissapointed. Acton got taken out off the ball and then something happened in the scrum. Acton has way too short of a fuse and went at it hammer and tong with Lillycrop. Both deserved a red and no argument from me. We have plenty of props who are as good as Acton and until he sorts his temper out he should be rested for a while.

Not one ounce of trouble until Batley went behind on the scoreboard, Lillycrop came flying out of the line and hit Acton without the ball maliciously.

Next scrum fight.

Indeed Binosh, Dirty leigh should have 'started scrapping' when struggling 'down the slope' 1st half, and whilst losing in the early part of the 2nd half !
