Sounds totally unprofessional to me:
"I am going to teach my side this week to throw forward passes, stand offside all day and tackle round the head because every time we get him, we get the raw end of the stick. He needs to spend some time learning the rules and getting in a position where he can understand the game better. It is absolutely disgraceful every time we get him. He is not up to this standard at all. He needs to spend some time at another grade, just like my players would.We turned up with the right attitude but got caned by the bloke in the middle and that is not acceptable in my eyes. Next time we get him we know what to expect - a substandard performance. There is no excuse for our errors and I am not saying we deserved to win but there is a very common denominator every time there is a poor game of rugby league and that is Mr Thaler."

I've seen the tries mate, Wilds is the only borderline one, im presuming there on about passes in general play and the flat ones we (and the rest of SL) do from dummy half |

TBF you dont need to be at the game to see a massive dummy spit!
Morgans comments about every time we get 'him' would suggest its personal and he has a real issue with the Thaler.

No, but he is a SL coach and must surely know the correct channels to make a complaint. Instead of slating the ref to the whole public.
What kind of coach declares he will train his squad to throw forward passes etc..He is a big baby

Maybe, but still able to comfortably out-coach anything currently employed over at the KFC! |

And Morgan is the first coach to criticise a specific referee??
Are they sacrosanct??
Was not the reason they went professional to ensure a professional approach to the refereeing and application of the rules of the beautiful game??
And moving away from the referee ....... I was rather concerned about the inability of the linesmen to keep up with the run of play which may well have contributed to their inability to liaise with Mr Thaler on the question of any forward passes he may not have seen ... surely their level of fitness has to enable them to keep up with the play throughout the whole 80 minutes??

Like I say, he probably doesnt trust the correct channels of reporting a ref to get anything done.
Either way it is wrong to publicly throw all that abuse at Thaler. |
