"The Golden Generation finally has its Golden Fleece! They have Wembley Cup Final winners medals to add to their collection."

Well I can see 2 enforced changes with George Burgess getting a ban for an eye gouge and doubt Clark will play next week as he looked in a lot of pain.

I doubt even LeBron would be stupid enough to circumnavigate a "term ban" with a different ID as such actions are punishable with a life ban.......but, I agree that Makinson has been immense this year and his performance in the 2nd test in both attack and defense was a MotM effort

| I would say that Makinsons performance was the greatest ever from an England/GB player, certainly in my lifetime anyway. I always knew he was a good/handy player but i never knew he was capable of such a truly world class performance.

| Quote: Durham Giant "Would you still be looking at dropping Makinson for Johnstone for the third test ?'"
Bennett, of course, won't be looking at 'dropping' Makinson especially not with how well he's played but the only way I can see Johnstone playing is if he wants to have a look at him against a proper Test side. Knowing Bennett though he'll keep the same side, except for any changes he's forced to make and look for a 3-0 whitewash.

And he's be right to do this, as winning is a habit and momentum (as hard as it is in the scatter-gun international calendar) is everything. This England side will tour as GB next year......then host 'stralia the year after before the RLWC........remain unbeaten and you build an aura of invisibility.

No doubt and it fits in with the whole mindset he's been instilling in the team from what the players have said. That he makes them believe they are the best and can win any game, so Like I said it fits with his ethos.

I am a big fan of Johnstone but I would still stick with Makinson and Connor . We need to be working to develop a good centre /. Wing partnership as I don’t think we have had a good one for a long time.

| Quote: homme vaste "Never known such an ordinary player been so highly rated, he is a decent SL player and nothing more. Every time he has played against TJ in the past few seasons he has been dominated in every aspect. There are quite a few SL wing men I would take in my side before Makinson, is he really any better than BJB?'"
Superb.

But never mind, I’m sure you could rally the 3000 Wakefield fans to vote in an online poll for the speed bump'"
Bennett openly admitted he knew nothing of makinson before Denver. Shows how much research he put into his job.
Anyhow I always thought makinson was a crabbing show pony. The lad has completely changed my mind on him he has toughened up a whole heap and is more direct with his running now. For me the England shirt is his to lose now

If it doesn't work out and he starts being disruptive, Chester just drops him and plays either Reynolds, Hampshire or Miller.'"
It’s a shrewd signing imo.
With the length of contract meaning he won’t be on a lot too.
Chester has done enough so far on a tight budget to prove he knows what he’s doing.

He's never been a "crabbing show pony" for Saints. Bar the 2018 grand final he has always been superb

| Always thought Makinson had bags of quality.
He's welcome to come and join us, outside Jake at the KCOM.
