I thought it wasn't a cannonball if the impact is at the back of the knee?

Having done a bit of research it seems that there's no strict definition. I'd always considered it to be where the knee joints were forced in a direction they don't normally go (mainly from the side) but this was open to interpretation. The NRL definition is now any tackle on a held player where first contact is at the knees or lower regardless of direction. Not sure SL has an 'official' definition TBH - I think it's left to the officials to interpret if it's 'dangerous'.

Quite simply, I'm not wrong but then again I'm not going to be arrogant enough to suggest that your interpretation isn't also correct.

| I need to watch it again, on sky, without emotion attached but that didn't seem like that of a poor quality game. Incredibly predictable how it's always the supposed better side having an off day being the only reason Rovers won. Proper game, proper contest, two commited sides. Give me that any day over turgid woeful defences leading to 40-32 etc scorelines.

We need to bring the NRL rule in. Gets rid of a grey area, reduces risk of serious injury and speeds the tackle up

bit like our game in catalan in 2012, weather played its part in that game, although it was more sweaty conditions due to the heat rather than rain
rovers handled the conditions much better than wigan and deserved to win the game

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

It also amuses me that other teams imports are praised, any Wigan have are condemned... The bitterness really makes me chuckle, because those who are, think it bothers us, when we actually enjoy it..
Bring it on you mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, saddo's, we love it.......

Unfortunately, it's what happens when a club with such a rich history, along with the success Wigan have enjoyed over many, many years, fall at an unexpected hurdle.
It's a shame other RL fans feel the need to continually denigrate greatness, instead of appreciating it.

WE are used to teams playing awful against us to be fair. I mean every defeat by HKR its 100% guaranteed on the Hull forum they played badly. Long may it last that teams play awful against us.

Yes. Your site's liberal moderating policy is a clear indication of how much you enjoy criticism.
