What was Creagh doing at the end though. He give him a shove and then ran back 10 meters when Hodges came at him.

And NSW will slope off (GB style) having won a dead rubber thinking they are competitive in a series...

But then again, what is?
Great game, although there were a lot of handling errors. I was expectign NSW to roll over and lose by a heavy score but they produced their best performance for the past couple of years and the two touchline tackles in the second half were superb. Waterhouse should not have been sent off and I didn't really see why Creagh and Thaiday were sin binned.
Yet again the athleticism and intensity stood out and we will never be able to match it.

Its time for a change! We need to get rid of the idiots running the RLIF before they damage the sport beyond repair!
Go the Tigers, Blues and Roos!: |

ennis played well off the back of a very dominant forward pack. kimmorley was a massive difference, the team was composed and the forwards went forward.

Why not - they're only human, so it should be possible to train our humans to match the athleticism at least.

| Spot on.
First game was only close with freaky bounces and rebounds off players.
SOO III the Ref gave everything to NSW.
They deserved their win but as many said they did it opposite to the norm.
Rather than use old hands in the first game and if they don't get up give youth a chance they did the opposite.
Used youth and discarded them for old proven players.
What happens next year with no young foundations?
England will face this dilemma in the next series.

| waterhouse 1st player sent off since 2001

| NSW still had problems but they lucked into a few selctions in the third game. If not for injuries that team would have looked very different.
We needed to get the likes of White, Waterhouse and Leroy-Lahrs in game one. We needed to run out a pack that would be a problem and it came too late.
Kimmorley was ok but I felt Barrett was rubbish.
Ennis was good but he had more to work with than poor old Robbie Farah did.
They need to dump Gidley and Williams. Gidley reminds me way to much or Paul Wellens.....he gives nothing running the ball back.
QLD have some problems though.
Through this series up the middle of the park they had nothing. Cameron Smith is average now, he provides nothing in attack. The QLD props were good but outside of that, they were handled easily up the middle third of the field.
QLD got by on the back of the likes of Folau, Hodges and Inglis. If you take away their sheer brilliance, Queensland attack was very bloody ordinary.
Thats something to look at for NSW for the future.

| Good atmosphere, good rugby at times (although loads of mistakes as well), good bit of biff, an 8 point try, a sending off, a fantastic effort from Hodges even if he didn't get the result... all in all a pretty entertaining 80 minutes. Skill wise though, it wasn't much different from top end SL games I have seen.
