Things have definitely changed and to prove it I've just checked my own Club's Ground Regs. The Regulations give a list of things you cannot do, including entering onto the field of play. At the end it mentions that all these regs carry a power of arrest under the Football Grounds Act, 1991. |

It's best to just look at the actual law, which is why I asked which section of which Act extends the pitch rule to rugby.
The only problem with the Football Grounds Act 1991 is it doesn't actually exist, for example. |

a) www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1991/19/section/4 the government would beg to differ.
b) football =/= soccer. Rugby FOOTBALL League. Clues in the name. |

Nobody is making any more of it than that. He doesn't roll around feigning injury or whatever. He just stands up and walks in pursuit of his head. You seem to be blaming him for being punched and accusing him of faking. I think you have issues if that's the case.'"

Beg to differ? With whom or with what?
The act refers to a "designated football match". What is that? Well, you don't need "clues". Section 1 tells you. "In this Act a “designated football match” means an association football match designated, or of a description designated, for the purposes of this Act by order of the Secretary of State.
We don't play association football.
Someone suggested that the law had been widened to include rugby games, and I just asked what law.
