Quite a lady then?

| Quote: Magic Superbeetle "Is chanting "easy easy easy" really classified as goading now? It happens at virtually every game without incident. Why would Wakefield be the only exception to that? The Wakefield fans were giving it throughout the match and didn't like it back after saints took the lead. I'm all for banter amongst teams, and hardly "goading" (at least no more so than the Wakefield fans were giving it earlier) - but there was no need to get physical.
You can ask how bad was it really all you like, ANY incidents shouldn't be tolerated, at all. It was fine last year, don't know what's changed.
It occurred at the sheltered bit of the west(?) side - the bit towards the flats.
There was also a bit of trouble at the Salford game reading their board.'"
You talk about it as if you were there, were you?

| I'll tell you what I did see, there was a Sts fan who was stood almost in the middle of the Wakefield fans in the North stand and throughout the first half he was visibly shaking his head a tutting at comments being made around him. In the second half he got into a number of arguments with fans around him because they were unhappy with Roby. Quite why he decided to place himself where he did is a bit of a mystery, the cynic in me says he was there to be provocative but no doubt he's wandering around Merseyside telling everyone how bad the Trinity fans are.

| Quote: Magic Superbeetle "Large fight broke out directly behind my parents who were at the game. Saints fans were chanting "easy" ironically, wakey fans didn't respond well, and it devolved from there (according to their account)
Whether minor or not, it shouldn't happen at any game.'"
Could you please ask your parents to contact the club and provide as much information on the incident as possible.
It is important that facts are established quickly in these incidents so that anyone involved can be identified and dealt with accordingly.
It is important for our sport as a whole that we eradicate any anti-social behaviour of any kind from the terraces.
Until full facts of incidents are known it is in the best interest of the sport as a whole to avoid perpetuating incidents, as unconfirmed rumours are likely be exaggerated in the wider media and as a result will paint a detrimental picture of our sport to the wider public.

They already have to my knowledge. They were chatting with some stewards after the game and there had been a few scuffles supposedly.
To Wakefields credit, there were large numbers of stewards within the vicinity (was something expected?) so everything died down quick enough - fortunately it was the end of the game before anything boiled over so both sides just went there separate ways.
I agree, and it's already becoming more of an issue than really deserved, mass brawl is really a bit of an exaggeration, people jump on a train, and it's painted worse than it is - though it doesn't excuse any issues!

Agreed that there should be no excuses for anti-social behaviour. Credit to your parents for reporting to the stewards.
Hopefully the stewards are aware of anybody involved and the correct actions have been taken to ensure that this was an isolated incident.

I have this problem with so called Giants fans every year, what the hell is wrong with them. They are all t*ssers and always the ones who start the problem - all Wakey fans are ini cent as the driven snow.
What a one eyed bigot you really are.

Nobody did, it's a figment of Magic Superbeetle imagination and a transparent attempt to deflect from a far bigger issue.
Also as a matter of interest the worst crowd trouble at Wakefield ever was when a bunch of so called Saints fans hired one of the boxes, trashed it and fought a running battle with stewards - about four years ago, assume Magic Superbeetle forgot that one.

| As a Bradford fan, to my SHOCK and HORROR, I personally witnessed a wakefield fan attempting to cut off the arm of a saints fan with a bread knife. It took ages.
Surely deducting 6 points is the way to go here?

I'm gonna assume your on some sort of wind up. I never mentioned anything about 4 years ago. Simply what I've been told happened on this occasion, and I have repeated it on here.
I'd suggest the ganson thing you also posted on also a deflection on how Wakefield, after losing a 12 point advantage simply gave up instead of fighting their way back into the game. But maybe that's not my place to point out.

Was it a rusty bread knife, in which case it's 8 points!

It still had Jam and Margarine on it. What sort of animal doesn't sterilize before engaging in a hedonistic orgy of violence? Although all the Wakefield fans were rythmically clapping and chanting "die, die, die" I could see in their faces that they would have preferred to see some semblance of decontamination protocols being adhered to before the knife was re-used.
Minus 10 points for me.

No it's not a wind up, carry on in denial.

I notice that he saved his most vociferous rejoinders for an elderly lady, although I'm sure that was just a coincidence.
My favourite bit was when someone did a mild swear and he picked his daughter up and hugged her protectively; wont someone in Wakefield just think of the children?!
Aside from that, I saw no bother - something had gone off as we were leaving through the Saints fans in the West stand, as a group of stewards had gathered and Kath Hetherington was talking to a visiting female fan; looks like there could have been a minor scuffle, but there was no evidence of a 'mass brawl.'
