Indeed, it happened about a metre from my very young eyes, looking through the railings (I was too small to look over them) at the Wheldon Road end. There was a bit of a fracas in the in goal area and Senior just belted BJ Mather, breaking his jaw. BJ was unable to continue and Senior went on the score two tries in the centre channel BJ would have been defending. However, given BJ's defensive shortcomings, Senior would likely have scored more had he not put him out of the game.
